Punggol North had this Racial Harmony day celebration on Sunday evening.. There's a street parade, plus a cultural food fair, with many religious organisations providing free food... So after the game of badminton with Deary at Greendale, I went to the celebration with my mum, ate quite alot of food, like Kueh Tutu, mee goreng, mee siam, peking duck, carrot cake etc.. It was very crowded, and this is a rather rare scene to see in Punggol new town haha except on peak hours on trains lol.. after the feast, went back home and touch up on my ppt slides for next day's lessons...
Monday is the first day i tried teaching... used the Iflashbook to teach the P2s, and the ppt slides to teach the P4s... well few points to take note from my CT is that i need to raise my voice abit for the P2s else they wun be scared... as for the P4s, she said that i need to slow down abit and ask them more questions.. haha well i guess everything went on quite smoothly, and she commented that my slides are nice hahah... yeah!
today went thru a compre with the p4s, then ask them about the chap i taught yesterday... glad that they're able to grasp the meaning behind the story... Went home to sleep awhile, and prepare new ppt lesson for P2s, and then went out to Vivo city to meet up with my sis and cousins+her frens, to discuss bout her wedding stuff... first time being a jie-mei for a wedding, seems like there're lots of stuff to prepare and take note of... but i think its goign to be fun! haha
oh ya, and its racial harmony celebration in our sch today, so we hav to wear ethnic costumes, and they only informed us ytd... luckily i can still fit into the blouse i bought during sec sch hahah... but looks like a red ang-bao.. well its ok, most of the kids are wearing red/pink also, so it kind of feels like CNY...

Last sun, went to the Hokkaido food fair at TM.. it was so crowded... the food was rather ex over there, but there are still so many ppl lol.. din really see anything special or nice, so we din get much except for the 1-for-1 strawberry mousse that they're having promotion lol...
This was the strawberry mousse we got, it looks like some strawberry icecream.. and tastes really nice...
Halfway through eating, got a surprise! As there's a layer of cheesecake beneath the strawberry mousse! it was great! hahah a nice dessert after lunch ^_^
On Wed evening, went Hougang for badminton with deary from 4-6, then we go to Hougang Ave.8, there's is restaurant style western food in a coffeeshop... the price is ok just typical western food prices in coffeeshop, but the they serve like a restaurant! there's even a menu! haha so we ordered our food and enjoyed them..
I had this Hotplate Black pepper chicken, though a little too salty, but its nice! the chicken is tender and not too oily!
this is the Sirloin steak deary had...
there's also a soup with garlic bread, and a small choco fondue as dessert, so we were really full after the meal.. so we walked a few bus stops down to take a bus home..
there'll be more badminton sessions to come next week, its a good way of relaxing, so i should engage in this kind of activity more often.. ^_^ shall try to prepare for my lessons next week, yeah I'll be teaching! hahah hopefully it'll be a good experience...

Went for a game of badminton at Tampines before going for Dim Sum buffet at Excelsior hotel on Youth day holiday... The food was great! We tasted almost all the dim sum items except for a few fried ones... It cost only $12.90++ per adult on weekdays for lunch, so i think its quite worth it ^_^
For the rest of the week, was just bored in school, observing lessons and assisted my CT in controlling the class abit.. Walked around and check that they did their work etc.. Luckily got to walk around, else I'll sure fall asleep in class lol..
Thurs went to PS to meet deary after school before goin for Peiwen's 21st birthday party.. walked around in PS, wanted to watch movie, but seems that there isn't any nice ones, or rather, we've watched all those that's nice now... so we went to Secret recipe and had their tea-time cake special, had this Apple Crumble cheesecake, it was delicious! hhah then afterthat went Kovan Melody for PW's bday party at evening... played Wii overthere, played mario-kart, it was fun and funny hahah, also played bowling and tennis...
Just came back from tuitions, later going to play table-tennis! hahah den lily they all will be coming over for mahjong, yes mahjong again lol... since they drive and i dun hav to leave my house, i dun mind lol...

After 2 sessions of tutions ytd, went home to change before going for a last min decided badminton session with deary at Greendale Pri... had difficulty finding the entrance to the sch, cos i tot we can get in thru the main gate.. it turns out that only one door at the other end(near punggol plaza) is open, so by the time we got into the hall, we're late for almost half the session hahah but luckily the person in charge is nice enough to allow us to play for a longer time...
after the game, went punggol plaza and get bubble tea before heading home... went to Samartha's bday party at Downtown east chalet after that.. Left the chalet around 10.45, as Lily and David are coming over for mahjong at 11.30.. had a fun game...
Went out to meet Sherwin and Nicholas at City Hall this afternoon for a chocolate session. Went to Esplanade's Chocz, and we ordered a Madagascar dark chocolate fondue, plus a drink each, and Sherwin ordered another apple crumble... i ordered a hot choco drink called Chococcina, and it was nice! The thick choco that has a tinge of bitterness is definatly my cup of tea! haha so we really enjoyed the choco session, with Sherwin entertaining us with his singing: 'Lonely is the night'...
After the fulfilling choco session, Sherwin has to head home for his 4 hours of revision as required by his mum.. So we accompanied him back to MRT station before going to Raffles City to shop around... walked around looking for clothes, cos nic says he wants to change his image and dress younger.. but first he say he needs to slim down first hahha but with all the nice foods around, not tat easy lol... had late dinner at MOS burger before sending me home... it was a nice and funny day out, really enjoyed myself.. ^_^

First week of TA has ended, got a nice CT, and fun trainees to hang out with.. so generally, i enjoy my time... The first week of school was quite hectic, teachers busying with h1n1 stuff, and first lesson of the day is suspended... so teachers are all stressed as they have to rush their lessons... well, the 2 classes i observed are the below average standard classes, so their progress is slower... and, Donghan, my cousin is in 1 of the class i observed! haha and i heard him telling his classmates that i'm his cousin but it seems that nobody believes him lol... cos he's those very noisy type, so i supposed his frens will just think that he's lying haha..
Went to watch Ice Age 3 yesterday at Cineleisure yesterday, it was nice and funny! Had Suki buffet before that and the sashimi are great! slurps...

Just came back from a mahjong session at Lily's house... we went her house around evening, and played till 11.15, and i left to catch last bus home... it was quite fun, but think i'm a little too tired...
The 5d4n Kuching trip was great! Especially the trip to Bako National Park.. though tiring, it was a nice and great experience, being so close to the nature and stuff.. of cos its rewarding to be able to see the nice beach at the end of the trail, and not forgetting the famous sea-stack that we saw... the stay at tree-house was okay, as in it was a great experience, but abit scary at night as it's just all trees around and its like we're alone in the forest... somemore deary fall asleep so fast, i feel so scared being alone (with him asleep) in the night in the forest lol.. Overall, the trip was great, but i guess i din get enough sleep, so am still a little tired... perhaps i expect too much, but sometimes i really do wish that things are a little more perfect, a little more closer to my expectations... but i guess, there isn't such a thing called 'perfect match', its only how much you can accept, and how much you want to accept......

Went to Guihao's 21st bday party at her house last night, with the theme hip-hop... haha was quite fun and enjoyable, chatting with sec sch frens... the mango cake is also nice! hopefully she likes the oven ^_^ next time can go her house bake cakes/cookies plus play her Wii heheh..
later on after the party, Lily, David and Deary came over my house for mahjong... it was fun, and i won a little haha but its funny, that David's wins happens to cover for Lily's loss, and my wins covers deary's loss.. it was fun playing wiht them, and i think Lily is getting a hang of it and she wants to play again too! hahah okies anyway, played till around 4.30am and they went off, and deary stayed over at my house... slept till 10am, then went to eat KFC breakfast! haha nice Twister heheh... 2 more weeks of holiday left before sch attachment, and 1 more week to Kuching trip!!!

Went JB with Lily, David and Deary last thurs... deary and i went in earlier to sing ktv, cos the both of them can only make it in the afternoon... so we went to their k-lunch and sing for around 2 hours... was having a little of sore throat haha but still enjoyed ourselves... and its very cheap! it cost only RM22 for both of us, and its inclusive of lunch! hahah shall go there again someday... after singing, both of us walked around, and we went Padini where there was sale, and i bought a pair of pants while deary bought a shirt... then we meet up the lily and david, and took a cab to Taman Sentosa to eat the Bah Kut Teh... it was nice although i just went with my family 2 weeks ago lol...
after the late lunch, we went shopping at The Store before going back to City Square.. we decided to watch Terminator Salvation, and i was so confused in the show, cos i din watch the previous Terminator movies.. even fell asleep for awhile lol cos was tired, maybe cos of sore throat also... and after the show, we went to eat Kim Gary's... food was nice, too bad i cant eat the hot plate they ate, it was so nice... due to sore throat i only had dumplings noodles.. shall go and eat the hotplate another day lol...
Friday morn went the airport and send wanying off, she'll be away along in taiwan for 15days haha.. hopefully she's enjoying herself there! went Tampines in the afternoon and shop around before goign bedok for dinner with family to celebrate Papa's birthday.. Sat was papa's bday...
Sunday night went 4th aunt's house for bbq... it was fun, all the bbq-ing and eating.. big aunt even cooked laksa! it was a nice and heart-warming relatives gathering... ^_^

Went to watch Angels and Demons at GV Gold Class Vivocity just now(cos got free tix as a bday gift)... it was a nice movie, and the seats in the cinema was great and very comfy hhaha its those recliner kind of chair and can really lie down and sleep, they provide blanket too! haha so it was really a nice relaxation throughout the show... however i think that $36/tix is too expensive, and i dun tink i'll go if i have to pay for it hahha...
Anyway, had international buffet at AquaMarine resturant at Marina Mandrian Hotel for dinner... the ambience was great, rather high class... hhaha thx dear for the nice month-sary celebration ^_^
Went Leisure world with mum yesterday, quite fun cos i havent been onboard for quite long... it was very crowded, as usual my mum said... played a little hahha den walked around the deck and enjoy the sea breeze, it was nice and cooling.. love the feeling... went food fair at expo at night, it was also very crowded.. tasted some food, and bought some meat balls, sausages and chocolates...
anyway, results are out yesterday! am overjoyed to hear that my CGPA increased by 0.2! was really unexpected, cos alot of dip edu crossovers for the sem, and alot of them are prcs, so i tot my results will be bad.. but luckily, i did well! am really happy to get my first A in NIE.. hahha hopefully in the next 2 years, my results wun be dragged down by the English modules....

Watched Night at the Museum 2 last weeekend, its funny but i still think part 1 is nicer and funnier... badminton with deary and lily they all on mon, and poor deary injured his knee again, hopefully he'll get well soon...
its 端午节yesterday, had eaten quite alot of 粽子 for the past few days.. i just finished 1, hahah love the 粽子 made by my aunts... my mum used to make also, but its very troublesome haha so now we only make ki zhang, which is easier to make and not as oily lol...

Back from Vietnam-Hanoi! it was a wonderful trip! Especially love the nice scenery at Halong Bay, and the great swimming and kayaking experience... Back in Hanoi city, it was fun walking around exploring the old quarters and trying out their street food... and all the bargaining.. the water puppet show was interesting also... in all, i would say that its a great and fun trip! there wasn't much things to buy, it was more of a cultural experience..
didn't get enough sleep for the 5 days, so slept alot after i came back...went sgh yesterday, test results wasnt exactly good.. hopefully will turn better...

Good and fun time really flies, lol its been 3 weeks since the end of my exams... have been getting lots of fun recently, mostly through exercising lol.. played badminton and table tennis, and also went to gym quite often for past 2 weeks.. hopefully this kind of healthy lifestyle will continue even after coming back from Vietnam..
Monday went to buy air-con with bro, and yeah! they'll be coming to install it tmr! dun hav to endure the hot and humid weather anymore hahah.. went to help out at Mercy Relief raising awareness campaign on Mon evening at Tampines with Doris... our jobs are just to give out balloons and getting some donations... overall its quite nice and fun cos the ppl from MR are really nice and friendly... alr got this impression of them prior to my last volunteer experience with them.. hopefully there'll be more chances like this...
For those who're living in the East or near Tampines, do drop by the field tentage beside Tampines MRT station (the white tent with photo exhibitions), its a showcase of photos of the MR team offering our help in Sichuan Earthquake, Tsunami 2004, Gaza strip victims as well as the civilians in Sri Lanka... the main aim of the exhibition is more of raising awareness.. soliciting donation is another aim but not the main one, so feel free to go downn and take a look at the photos, and get to know about this organisation called Mercy Relief =)

Went Delta gym with Deary yesterday morning, before goin his house and went for lunch at Marina Square with his parents... its an early celebration of Mother's Day, had Pariss International buffet... the food there are fresh esp the seafood like oysters and mussels, scallops etc... very nice display also, though the food does not taste fantastic, but still quite nice and we had a very filling lunch lol... after that i went for tuition while deary went sk lib until my tuition ends then we went Bedok Hiang Suar restaurant for dinner with my family... we had Mother's Day celebration dinner yesterday also, lol we were still so full during dinner time that both of us shared a bowl of rice lol...
will be going play table tennis next tue, havent played since secondary school lol... and i'm looking forward to Halong Bay trip! ^_^

Caught 17again with Deary, Lily and David yesterday after the Vietnam trip debrief at NUS... went Causeway point to catch the show, it was a nice movie, i think the plot was great, with touching moments as well as laughable moments in the show... managed to catch the last bus home from woodlands after the movie... looking forward to the Hanoi trip!! hopefuly the swine flu will not get any more serious.. going off to have my lunch!

It was all fun after the exams haha.. went for 3d2n chalet at Downtown East with deary from tue to thu... played bowling, tried ice-skating, played the arcade basketball, went swimming, went jogging to pasir ris park and climbed the net till the top... plus all the cookinng in the room using the multi purpose steamboat thingy hahah so much fun!
of cos not forgetting, the surprise Deary had for me hahah lighting up so many candles in the room lol...
Friday went to Wan Ying's special birthday party at Kranji D'Farm.. though the weather was hot, but it was a great experience! it was fun walking around and catching up with 13/05 ppl... received a nice big stalk of sunflower from wanying too!
Sat had tuition as usual, but after class, stayed at tuition centre for awhile and played with Nic's hamster - Momo... haha he was cute but a bit shy dun really like ppl to touch lol... after that, went Shaw to have pasta and pizza at Roma's Deli... introduced Nic and Sherwin to the place and it was funny to watch Sherwin's expressions when he was eating lol cos he hate veges lol... after that we had ice-cream while walking to Suntec, where Sherwin got his hamster cage and i got the strawberry biscuit that Pinkie loves!
Walked towards the MRT and meet my mum and aunt, cos we were going to watch the 妈妈意难忘演唱会， 王识贤、谢承均as well as other actors and actresses of 意难忘 were present... haha it was a concert with alot alot of aunties watching lol but nevermind, i do enjoyed myself watching and listening to the hokkkien songs =)
Went Golden Mile to try out the well-known Belgium waffle with choco dip last evening... was ratehr nice, considerign its at a hawker centre... after that, walked to suntec and shop aroudn... basically was just walking around then back to bugis hahah.. like walked a big round...

yeah finally finished my exams!
went KTV with NIEgals at Chinatown 10dollar KTV its really cheap haha we sang from 3-7, until all of us tired... hahah... but after that still went Vivo to shop around and have dinner with Deary... just reached home and changed Pinkie's cage, she is still as cute as ever hahah...
anyway, got posted back to Rivervale again, and still waiting for my supervisor to call... hmm just realised that most of my classmates got part-time tutors as supervisor too... pity chihui cos her supervisor is Mr.Shake lol and he is known to be biased against M'sians... hopefully my supervisor will be good hahaha...

went KTV with NIEgals at Chinatown 10dollar KTV its really cheap haha we sang from 3-7, until all of us tired... hahah... but after that still went Vivo to shop around and have dinner with Deary... just reached home and changed Pinkie's cage, she is still as cute as ever hahah...
anyway, got posted back to Rivervale again, and still waiting for my supervisor to call... hmm just realised that most of my classmates got part-time tutors as supervisor too... pity chihui cos her supervisor is Mr.Shake lol and he is known to be biased against M'sians... hopefully my supervisor will be good hahaha...

Haven update for quite some time... finished the 3 tests, and am supposed to be preparing for exams now.. hahah but not really in the mood to study, cos of the flu and sore throat, have been sleeping all day lol... doubt there'll be much to prepare for xiao ming's paper this fri cos its more of analysing...
btw, watched Shijuku Incident and I think its really nice... though its a sad ending.. i think i still prefer shows with happy endings lol

Thanks to all those who turned up for my 21st birthday celebration! It was filled with fun, with so many frens and relatives celebrating for me, thanks a great deal! I'm very very happy! though got sabotaged by my cousins hahah but it was fun ^_^ really have to thank my family and deary for all the preparation work..
tests these 2 days, an opened-book one yesterday, was quite rush for time... luckily eeveryone said its not very easy hahah so still ok... today's paper was qutie ok... guessed tmr's paper will not be difficult also hahha since its another open book test...
anyway, watched Confessions of Shopaholic on sun, which is my bday with Deary at Vivo... was a nice and funny movie :)

Went tomb sweeping with family early this morning... its the first weekend for ppl to go sao mu, so it was reallyy crowded at the cemetry.. went for breakfast after that and sent my mum and bro to customs before coming home and slept till now lol...
the textbook assignment deadline extended till tmr, which means that i'll still need to edit the essay today... its still over the word limit of 3000... sianz...
well anyway, went ACM yesterday and view the KangXi exhibition.. it was only a small gallery with some exhibits, luckily it was free entry lol.. but quite ok as we got to walk around and view other exhibits also like SE Asia and stuff... afterthat went to ate Just Asia at Dhoby exchange.. din expect it to be so crowded haha cos usually when i went there its always like not mcuh ppl..
hmmm shall go back to editing and do my ppt slides for wed presentation...

Watched Race to Witch Mountain on Tuesday, it was a nice adventure show... been wanting to watch the show cos the 'aliens' are not like the usual aliens that we assume, like little green creatures with antenna...
spent whole of Friday doing ACC202.2 project plus alittle of xufeng's assignmnet, though tiring, it was quite fun with some jokes and gosssips here and there...
Sat was great! Went Marina Barrage with Deary, cos got the 'Real love works' event, and it was fun.. the scenery was nice, weather was cooling, and it was fun getting the hold helium balloon! cant really remember when was the last time i got one, it was only when i was a little gal then i got this privilege lol.. mummy will always tie it around my hand, for fear the i'll lose grip and let the balloon fly off.. i think thats really very long ago, cos most of the balloons nowadays are those normal balloons with a stick.... still prefer those helium-filled balloons ^_^

Watched Departures on Thursday after lesson... It was much better than what I expected, cos usually I'm not that into Jap movies.. it was a show with unique settings and there's this tinge of sadness halfway thru the show till the end... the show was filled with solemness, and it portrayed the professionalism of the Japanese, which is something that we really have to salute them...
The Tale of Despereaux.. A nice and cute movie about the world of Mouse and Rats. It is also meaningful..really loved the 2 movies... went for swimming, jogging and badminton in the past week hahah but dun think i will continue doing this every weeek lol...

Finally, the assignments and test are over.. hah but i'm not that stressed up about it compared to my classmates(they slept at 3am everyday for the past week!) haha to think that i still went cycling and playing with water and East coast park last fri while they're all slogging their way thru the assignments and studying test... hahah i'm just so slack...
anyway, have sent out invitations for my 21st birthday,.. if u did not receive my email invitation, then it must be on the way thru the snail mail lol... hopefully the turnout will be good, cos its nearing exam period and alot of tests and assignments due then...

After enjoying the recess week, its time to work again.. with 2 assignments due and a test next week... but it'll be over soon!^_^
on a brighter note, my sis won a 32in lcd sharp tv in her company D&D! haha its the 2nd prize, and it'll be placed in our room hahaha... so happy, luckily i din buy the 19in the other time... also, deary cooked my breakfast this morning, omu rice with gyoza.. so nice lo hahaha...
okies, am goin to catch a nap now....

Superstar Virgo
Am back from the Cruise trip with Deary! It was a great trip, with lots of fun, lots of good food, lots of photos and most importantly, loads and loads of beautiful memories ^_^
Disembarked at Malacca, visited the ruins of St. Pauls church, 2 chinese temples, a Peranakan museum and the significant red church... after that, took bus to KL where we viewed the twin towers from afar and took pictures, and then proceed to their Chinatown... though the stay in KL was short, but overall, the land excursion is still great...
Onboard the cruise, we ate and ate, went swimming and jacuzzi, watched shows, took lots of photos along the deck, visited the casino... truly enjoy the walks along the deck, viewing the sea, 那种眼前一望无际，望着辽阔无边的大海的感觉，让我体会世界之大。也让我深切地感受到，在茫茫人海中，两人能相遇并走在一起，是多么地奇妙。这一切冥冥中早已有了安排，既然已是缘定一生，又何须在乎生命中那些许的缺陷呢？无论如何，这是一个美丽的回忆。

Mid-week now... but only 1 more day of lesson tmr before recess week! hahah... however, there's an assignment due on fri... luckily i've finished almost 80% of it, just adding in some more information and i can submit it tmr! yeah then i can enjoy my recess week!!
anyway, cooked curry udon and made a chicken burger for breakfast yest and had it with Deary.. but the udon a bit sour not very nice... maybe shall try another brand of udon next time... hmm suddenly craving for mac breakfast and jap buffet (suki/sakae)! hahah

Happy Valentine! ^_^
Since its before 12, here's wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!
Had a great day today with Deary, went Vivo to catch the show by Andy Lau... it was a great show, Andy Lau is still as charming despite his age haha no wonder he's my sis's idol since young... went rooftop after movie, and exchange our presents.. haha deary is so sweet to have made the hearts for me... of cos not forgetting the cute cute doraemon and the bouquet of flowers...
made a bouquet of dark choco rocher with his favourite tigger for him
and got him a waist pouch... din take the pic of that though... hhaah should have another present for him but cant finish it in time lol due to my mc for 2 days keep sleeping nvr do anything... but anyway, i can always give it to him later hahah..

this is the mango and peach ice-cream cake we had.. quite nice though it was a little hard cos its taken out from freezer.. hahah but overall the dining ambience was great ^_^
Really enjoyed myself today, and really thank Deary for the planning and making of gifts and flowers for me.. though i alr guessed what he'll be getting for me, but at least he tried to make it a surprise for me this time round.. am touched by the gesture ^_^

Nine days of relatives gathering in a row, other than chu ba, cos we have to prepare to 拜天公。happily enjoyed my one week of holidays haha... but am suffering from a lack of sleep, cos always reach home after midnight... so am very tired these few days, perhaps there're other factors that contribute to the fatigue also.. well, skipped a morning tutorial on wen yan wen this morn cos woke up late, or rather, i actually woke up on time but am really too tired le so slept more...

Happy 牛 Year to all!
its chu san already, and i'm blogging here so late in the night cos i only got home around 3am... welll its funny that i reached home earlier on chu yi than on chu er, considering the fact that tmr will be a working day... anyway, went 2nd uncle's house as usual yesterday, reached there quite late, but left rather early around 11+, probably cos there's no gambling lol...
visited a few houses today with deary, and ate alot lol, then stayed at 4th aunt's house till 3am hhaha.. gambled a little (that's why we're able to stay till so late lol) still in cny mood, luckily its e-learning week for me, so i have got a whole week's break... gonna enjoy myself this week...

这两天都在忙着家务事，准备薄饼的菜、炒薄饼的馅料等，都帮妈妈分担。这薄饼可算是我们的家传菜，因为是由我婆婆传给我妈妈的。爸爸从小到大都吃着婆婆做的薄饼，而我们三兄妹也是从小就吃着妈妈做的薄饼长大。每一年，吃团圆饭前的两三天，我们一家就会齐聚一堂，一起切菜（虽然我不记得是从几岁开始这么做）。总之，从我有记忆开始，就记得我们年年都会制作薄饼。我喜欢这种其乐融融的感觉、这种一家人齐聚一堂欢乐度年的感觉。明天（其实是今天）是年除夕，要和家人吃团圆饭。每年都视这为理所当然，却没想过，其实有很多人都无法高高兴兴地坐下来吃一顿团圆饭。对那些丧失亲人/无法回家团圆的人来说，我们是幸福的。能够一家合乐地在一起，是幸福的！
如果你身边有家人陪伴着你，你也是幸福的！所以，无论你有多郁闷、多惆怅，应该想想，你比很多人都来得幸福。这一切并不是永久的，所以一定要好好珍惜，好好把握与家人共处的时光。
刚到俊凯的家吃团圆饭，然后便和爸爸妈妈到勿洛和义顺逛，感受浓烈的新年气氛。才发现，虽然到处都有人朝，但却不如往年多，可说是一年不如一年了。总觉得很奇怪，为什么有人对农历新年那么不重视、不在意，甚至是厌恶农历新年？这是华族唯一一个被保存下来，并且大肆庆祝的传统节日。身为华人，不是应该继续秉承这种传统吗？难道现今社会人人都崇洋媚外，希望舍弃这种传统吗？
不管怎样，我仍然喜爱农历新年的一切——歌曲、装饰、食品、习俗等。希望这种传统不会逝去，能够悠久无疆！

First week of school was rather ok, most courses alr start lessons and there's even a 25% test lol!
nothing much to update bout school life... it's deary's bday on thurs, so we had dinner toge with his family at Ah Yat Abalone restaurant... the food was delicious! haha after the dinner we head back to costa sands resort at Sentosa... spent a night there as there was no lessons for both of us on fri... it was a cosy little room facing the swimming pool hhaha.. gave deary a bday surprise with the gift and the room decoration...all photos on facebook alr hhah.. drank abit of champange and chatted before sleeping.. i succeed in being the first and last person to wish him happy birthday lol... it was a nice and enjoyable day... hopefully deary enjoyed the day too and hope its memorable for him... but he seems to be very tired..
just came back from a steamboat gathering at my cousin's house at Fernvale... nice to have such gathering once in a while ^_^

Since its the start of a new year, let me recap on my 2008 new year resolutions:
1. Stop Predniselone-steroids (I believe this will be achieved since my dosage is very low now)
2. Better health for me and family
3. Organise a chalet with my deary
4. GPA of 3.8 and above
5. Treat my parents on overseas trip: China-Kunming,Dali
6. More exercise and lose some weight
7. Make a decision after careful consideration about religious issue
not too bad i'd say, cos i completed 6 & 7, and i did went on Kunming trip just that its my sis who treated my parents lol... chalet will be coming soon in a few days time so i can consider that as completed also lol... as for gpa, i guess there's still quite some way to go... health wise, not so good for the year, with several flares.. hopefully in the coming year it'll be better :)

2. Stop steroids
3. Exercise at least twice a week
4. GPA to increase to 3.75
5. Learn to cook more dishes
6. Learn a little conversational cantonese
7. Participate in more volutary work
8. Spend more time with my loved ones
Well, started tuition at The Mentor for the sec 2s yesterday... was quite ok, maybe cos Sherwin's around so there's quite alot of jokes and laughter... was quite enjoyable anyway... went down to TM to meet up with xr, by and oer... cos its oer's 21st bday.. he smsed me early morn ytd and ask if we free to meet for lunch haha such short notice but we manage to make it(gave him face cos its his bday lol).. din get any presents for him so just treated him to Swensens choco fondue.. nice one cos i also got to eat hahaha..
spent today packing my stuff at home, but havent packed my wardrobe yet lol... watched last fri's xiao niang re, and also watched tomorrow's last 2 episodes haha cos i wun be home to watch tmr...
hopefully i can achieve all my New year resolutions this year! ^_^

First of all, Happy New Year to all my blog readers! May everything be smooth sailing for you and your family in the year 2009!
New Year's eve was a memorable one... started the day off by having tuition for my nephew, then met up with Deary for lunch at Compass Point, got myself a pair of Levi's Jeans also, haha first time I spent so much on clothing lol. had lunch at Curry-san, the food was nice slurps... went off to tiong bahru plaza to get ingredients to prepare dinner at deary's house... i cooked gong bao ji ding and croquette, while he cooked a soup and a vege... think the chicken is a little too spicy for him and his dad, but luckily his mum and god-sis say its quite nice... haha the apple-tomato-tofu-fish soup he cooked was nice too also its a little weird combi...
we walked to lib to return books after dinner then jogged back to his house.... then i look thru his photos when he was young, and watched fireworks at his house before heading home.. it was a great day ^_^
watched Ip Man today after KBOX at downtown east... the show was great! highly recommended haha really a nice show...

China trip with family, gatherings and x'mas celebrations with long time no see friends, and days spent with Deary... hopefully everything will go on well in the new semester!

Christmas has come and go... it was not a merry christmas for my deary and his family this year.. dun be sad k dear...
Yuying invite wanying and me to go her house for a party.. it was at Grandeur, the condo near AMK hub... so met up with wanying this morn at amk hub and shopped awhile before going over to the condo... the condo has really nice environment and amenities was great... but the maintenance fees must be high also lol... chatted a little with yuying and we go off after staying 1 hour plus and we went amk to shop again haha... my bro came to pick me and we went Serangoon north to shop for Pinkie's food, too bad the strawberry snack that pinkie loves most is no longer available... so sad cos Pinkie really loves that...
Chinese New Year is coming, and everywhere is playing CNY songs.. seems like alot of ppl dun like CNY songs, but i'm the opposite.. i love the atmosphere of CNY, with the playing of CNY songs and the hanging of decorations... it is usually the month before CNY that is most re nao, everywhere you go, you can feel the CNY atmosphere... haha thats why i love this period the most...

went shopping with Doris today, long time never meet up with her alr it was nice catching up and shopping around... Had cousins dinner cum gift exchange at Hanabi.. Had alot of salmon and yellow tail sashimi slurps... Nice food with nice company:) Xmas is coming and more of such gifts exchange are going to take place... Seems like i haven't been updating ever since i'm back... well, have been having a cough since i'm back, or rather, it started when i'm in china... even vomitted after i'm back...
luckily its fine now... hmm went to watched Dancescape at NAFA, and Sam really did a great job! well done gal, you manage to curb your fears and did a great performance, be proud of yourself! ^_^
went orchard shopping with deary today, and ate Sakae Teppanyaki, the first time i tried teppanyaki haha always seen it before and found it interesting but never really got a chance to try... chanced upon it today(am intending to eat Yuki Yaki but to realise that the outlet in Cineleisure has shut down) so decided to eat it... quite a nice experience... maybe its the company i'm with haha thats why eat anything also nice lol =) watched BOLT, the hamster 'Rhino' inside is soo cute! and the fat cat that's always on the Green-eye-man's shoulder... nice and cute show... shopped around orchard and got a few christmas presents...

Am back in Kunming now.. today is the last day of our tour with the tour guide le, so we'll be having free and easy walk around...
well, over the last 8 days of tour, learnt quite alot of stuff regarding the minority groups in Yunnan... 这里有很多“云南十八怪”：火车不通国内通国外、乳酪片片卖……除此之外，还得知有些少数民族一生只洗三次澡：出生、结婚、去世……真是难以想象。还有，学会了什么叫做“走婚”。那天听见开车的师傅说我们的导游前一晚走婚去了，还懵懵懂懂地不太晓得他在说什么。后来，才听导游微微说起，原来白族每年有一个节日（忘了叫什么），是让已婚的人和自己的旧情人约会，为期三天，而在这三天内，他们去了哪儿、做了什么，都不需要向伴侣交待。真是奇怪的习俗！开车的姜师傅还说，正是因为这样，大理（大理住的大多数是白族）的离婚率才会那么低。还有很多少数民族的风俗习惯都非常奇特，令人听了不禁大吃一惊。

I'm in Yunnan-Dali now, haha not bad the 5 star hotel got free broadband internet..
Let me recall the places that i visited during the past few days:
Day 1- Sat
reached Kunming airport around 7am, then proceed to Huazhou hotel to rest and before starting our tours at 2pm... the hotel was quite good, as in there are alot of shops and supermarts like Carrefour beside the hotel... so after we checked in and wash up, we went for a walk ard the hotel and have breakfast... food was ok, not especially nice or not nice lol...
in the afternoon, we started our tour by visiting 圆通寺, 之后到翠湖公园。在那里见到很多海鸥，不过看起来和鸽子没什么两样。游完公园，就带我们去参观茶楼 -- 典型的旅游行程之一，带我们到那里，然后一直要我们买东西。过后，我们就享用晚餐，然后就回酒店了。回酒店后，才不到8点钟，我们就自行到处逛逛再回去。

第二天 -- 昆明-〉宜良
一早享用早点后，就启程到宜良去。路上参观了一家水晶工厂，再吃了著名的宜良烤鸭（没北京烤鸭好吃，但是还挺不错的）。之后，就到九乡去。那里好漂亮啊！是天然的溶洞形成的。我们有乘小船，有步行，也有乘搭空中缆车（类似圣陶沙的sky luge）。这就圆了我想乘搭sky luge 的愿望。
晚上，也是很早就回酒店了。不习惯早睡的我们，决定到ktv去。
第三天 -- 宜良->昆明
早上就出发返回昆明市，先到“七彩云南”，那里有孔雀园、药厂、水晶厂等。午餐享用了著名的过桥米线，虽然没有想象中好吃，但还算不错了。之后，就到“民族村”了解了不同民族的一些习俗及参观他们的房子。晚上回到第一天居住的华州酒店。

今天早上9点出发，到达大理就已经是下午3.30了。到了明珠广场，
再到大理古城逛一逛，就已是傍晚时分了。
现在也是刚回到酒店，因为晚饭后我们乘搭酒店的短程巴士到大理古城继续买东西。
明天将会动身到丽江去。不过离开大理前，会先参观天龙八部的拍摄地。现在要去泡浴缸了！

Finally finished all papers!! Went out for lunch with my classmates after paper yesterday... Also went to food fair at Expo with mum last night, but there aren't any special stuff...
Today is a fun filled day! Went JB with classmates for KTV and shopping, then came back for family dinner... Cos my aunt strike 4d so she gave my whole extended family a treat at Owen restaurant at Turf City... The food was great, as there are alot of seafood LOL... The most interesting part is that there is also a ktv in the restaurant VIP room... At first I only helped to choose songs for my uncles and aunties.. Who knows when the song xin yuan yang hu die meng by Huang An is played, they forced me and my cousin to sing it together lol.. Cos last time when we were young, my cousin and I always sing this song together, and our relatives always make fun of us(cos we're only 1 year different in age)... Yup so just now when singing, they also keep saying that we sang this together since young, made us so paiseh haha,..

Examss
Finished 2 papers in the midst of a cough and flu.. luckily the papers are not too difficult, have done well based on my own standards.. whether or not i can get good grades, its another matter lol... i've tried my best and i'm glad about that ^_^
These Penguins are so so so cute!! Just found out that there'll be a cartoon featuring them(yes the 4 penguins as the main cast! yeah!) which will be aired in march 2009: The Penguins of Madagascar.... looking forward to that cos the penguins are so cute... or rather, i've always had a liking for penguins hahah..
am so looking forward to friday haha.. hopefully my cough will be well by then...

Went to watch Sing to the Dawn today, quite nice, brings back memories of my sec 1 literature days lol.. though i cant really remember the whole story that i read last time, found some parts familiar and have some impression...
Tried a new Jap restaurant at Vivo with Deary today, as our 15mth-sary celebration.. its like a combination of ajisen ramen, and jap curry, and some special fried sob... think the food is nice ^_^
dunno why, but it seems to me that sec sch days were the most unforgetable ones, and will think of it now and often.. of the frens, the teachers, the environment, the things that happened, both happy and unhappy ones... i think a school is a place where all kinds of people came together.. knowing and interacting each other, let us gain insights on life..
快要考试了，却无法静下心来好好读书。也许是因为我没有什么很伟大的理想、没有要考取第一荣誉学位的目标吧。我只觉得，人生只要尽力而为，就不会枉此一生了！有些人忙忙碌碌，也不知道他们在追求什么，或许他们知道，或许连他们自己也不晓得。我知道，学业/事业并不是全部。亲情、爱情和友情以及健康才是至关重要的。听起来像是在为自己找借口不读书，但我不是。我清楚，也了解，一切都会在我掌控之中。

Watched Tropics Thunder last night, quite a crappy show lol..
Watched Nights in Rodanthe last week, was a nice show though it has a sad ending.. but really love the show... ^_^
WY told me yet another 'joke-of-the-day' yesterday during lesson... it was so funny we kept laughing lol... hmm finally settled down to do work today and finished the wenzi xue presentation... now left with another research paper... shall start doing that soon too....
anyway, Happy Birthday to my Brother and Doris!

Reading TWY's blog of so-many-unread-entries makes me feels like updating my blog... hahah..
I shall start with the Sunday NTU drama performance at Raffles Hotel... It was nice, though I think the audience laughed at places where the script-writer doesn't meant to make it laughable... lol but it was nice and i think the person who acted as Weilun really has good acting skills.. he was very emotional and very into the show... bro fetched me there as he was going to Odeon towers for dinner, on the way, we went to pasir ris and marine parade, my aunt's condo-Seaview.. it was really nice and there are many swimming pools.. shall find a day to go there and swim haha.. well, luckily after the show, bro still there so i met him at bras brasah Mac, where I ate Sundae.. accidentally J-walked hahah was following Prof Tan KC and he actually also parked his car at NLB, which has the cheapest parking rate at bugis/city hall area on Sun(according to my bro)... It was a long day cos i reached home at 11+...
Woke up early morning on Monday for Prof Chew's yu fa lessons... lessons are fine at least i can understand what he says lol... went to Singapore Soka Association for a Mercy Relief Stakeholders' Night volunteery stuff.. helped in the packing of goodie bags and some misc stuffs... was quite free from 5-6, so chatted with a fellow MR volunteer, and i was amazed that he made a somewhat-racist comment... cos he was a working adult and doesn't look like someone who's against the other races.. haha but i guess its just a casual comment from him... he's from Soka and i'm also surprised that Soka has been around for so long haha cos i always tot that it just came within the last 10 years... was in charge at the registration booth so for the evening of 1 hour plus, was repeating the same words lol... "Good evening Sir/Mdm, may I have your name. You will be sitting at table no. XXX, have a great evening" hahah was interesting to see those 'big shots' ppl mainly the CEO/Vice-president of many companies and religious organisations...
In short, its a wonderful experience, getting to know more friends, getting to see how these big events are organised(esp when big shot such as PM will be attending), and most importantly, getting a chance to participate in MR's future activities...
had Small Cloud's lesson on tues morn, am tired cos only slept a few hours, plus his boring lesson makes me almost fall asleep... thx to CP sweets that i'm able to keep myself awake... prof chew's make up lesson in the afternn is great, like a small picnic session, with jm's m&ms,fruitips sweets... on the way home, told TWY some 'jokes' which she named as Joke of the Day lol...went for 2 sessions of tuition, doing the usual stuff...
nothing really interesting today, only 2 hours of lecture then i came home... i'd wanted to start doign some work, but here I am, spending so much time to blog... hahh
I am going to make my life more meaningful! ^_^

Finally, test is over, assignment submitted... which means that 50% of 2 of my chinese modules are over... what a tiring week, although i've completed 90% of my assignment last week...
deary got me 天地豪情vcd set today， 罗嘉良！hahah so happy.... but dun really think i have the time to watch now... still have another research paper, and another presentation, before the exams next month.... well, that also means that i'll be flying off soon! ^_^

forgot to mention that i got a free 4gb thumbdrive from SCTU, haha now i can back up all my photos there... but think i shall get a external hard disk soon, to back up all my photos and stuff.. actually only photos, cos the other stuff are not that important lol...
now channel 8 is showing a travel variety show, where they travelled to Mongolia... looks nice, quite alot of stuff to see... looking forward to Yunnan trip in Nov ^_^ hopefully it'll be as fun as the Beijing trip last year =)
now i know, travelling and gaining more insights is a great way of enjoying life, i shall work towards the goal of travelling at least once per year =)

Am back from Genting trip! I love the weather there, always so cooling... Slept quite alot, its more of a trip for me to relax and enjoy...went to visit the 蓬莱仙境，which is a temple of 清水祖师。Chin Swee Caves Temple:

this is actually a very big wall with water, but it can't be seen clearly...
there's a part of the place that reminds me of Haw Par Villa, as they also showcase the 'torturing' methods in hell, but there's only 10, and not 十八层地狱 as we usually said... i think it may be a good way to teach children of moral ethics.. i din take any pictures of that cos the sky seems dark so we walked very quickly thru that...
Its really a nice place, with beautiful scenery and nice sights to see... something of vast difference from Genting highlands, where everything is commercialised and looks just like any other shopping centres...
Back from the holiday, its time for me to start working on my assignments and study for the upcoming test...

Anyway, have not been to Chinese Garden for like so many years, I think its 10 years ago since I last went there... am supposed to promote 一则《论语》today, but cos i hav to miss my tutorial, i miss the chance of presenting.. dunno why but feel kind of disappointed, cos i'm quite looking forward to it as i thought its going to be interesting... i even prepared the ppt slides and thought of my speech... tot i'll feel happy to be able to skip the presentation, but i'm not really feeling so..

Finally, my AED201 presentation ended!! haha am so happy ^_^ I'm so amazed by the way our tutor summarises up the whole module.. like turning one big round to shoot ppl lol..
learnt about 亲属关系today.. as in how should we address our aunties and uncles.. though nowadays many ppl just call 'aunty' and 'uncle', so they might not even know who that person is lol.. i guess this is part of the chinese culture that i like, cos we can clearly distinguish who is who..

This is a long weekend, cos there were no lessons on thurs and fri... however, it seems that i'm not doing anything constructive for the past 2 days... well at least i went shopping with wanying on wed night, that was something constructive i would say hahah cos i havent went shopping with her for a long time...
went hougang mall with mum in the afternoon for lunch and bought some baking stuff from redman.. goin to try out some stuff next week.. cooked chilli crab for dinner, it was great haha..
time and time again, i thought i'm forgiving... but sometimes, i don't know if i'm too prejudiced against that person or is it that the persons' doings are too ridiculous.. or is it that im not forgiving enough? anyway, i always believe that 人在做，天在看。as long as we're not guilty of what we've done, why bother bout others? but it is easier said than done, especially when i see that person bullying another person... this is really unfair... 一种米养百种人……

It has been an interesting monday for the week, with both happy and unhappy stuff happening.. chinese lesson was usual, but paid more attention than last week haha so the concepts doesn't seem that difficult to grasp..
it was project meeting that poses as a headache.. met our tutor for discussion, and after the meeting with her, seems like everyone in the group and the tutor has same sentiments on 1 person.. its ok, different people have different thinkings, there's nothing we can do if the person is unwilling to accomodate.. anyway, i'm sure we all learnt from this project..
on the other hand, went vivo with dear, had a fun day, playing with the water on rooftop pool, looking at the seaview and stuff.. hhaha and got a small doraemon to keep me company and cheer me up ^_^ so i still love the monday!

Miss TAN Wanyier completed her 6k safra fun run today! and she ran all the way(as she said so, i wasn't with her) what a great achievement!!(considering they never really train for it although they always said they want to, end up bringing shoe bag to sch just for 'show' hahahha)

Watched Meet Dave with Deary yesterday.. It was very funny, haven't watched a comedy for ages... (Money no enough 2 is not considered cos i think its so touching im actually crying half the show lol) its nice to have a good laugh, esp in the middle of the week where alot of assignments are due for the week...
Thanks to NTU students union day, lessons are cancelled today... so i don't have to travel all the way for 2 hours of tutorial of which 1 hour is listening to presentations... can 'rest' at home, or rather chiong my moral edu assignment that is due tomorrow.. just realised that i've got no references for the essay...
heard of yet another heart-breaking story of my cousin last night... they already applied for a hdb flat which will be ready in 1-2 years time, but now they're going their separate ways... 是缘分已尽？

Went Seng Kang Anchorvale swimming complex just now.. it was nice!! like a smaller version of the Jurong east swimming complex... just that it doesn't have the lazy river and wave pool.. other than that there's slides, jaccuzzi.. there's also a sheltered pool! can go regardless of weather! haha the gym there seems nice also cos its new hahah..

saw CK's tag, so i decided to blog abit more today..
相信每当我遇见一个一见如故或是似曾相识的人时，或许就是前世所结下的缘。Sometimes I do wonder why I can say so many things to someone who's just a stranger(eg a teacher who has not taught you before). perhaps it is in our previous life that we owe each other something or we cause some hurt/damage to each other unknowingly, that is why in this life, we got to meet and our task is to 'resolve' the problem.. afterwhich, we proceed on with our own life, with no more dealings with that person(literally), but deep down in our hearts, we may have benefitted greatly from him/her... therefore i think that all those who've crossed our path sometime in our life has got a purpose.. be it to enlighten you(which i interpret as that person oweing you something in the past life hence is here to return the favour) or have conflicts with you(perhaps cos you owe that person something in the past?) no matter what, everyone whom has once entered your life enters for a reason, and we will be able to learn something from it...
this is the same as what i think about things that happened in life... be it good or bad, all things happen for a reason.. and we can all learn from the incident..
i also believe a person's character is very much related to his/her previous life..

School has started, and alot of assignments came flooding in... it is really overwhelming lol..
on a brighter note, went shopping with deary at Orchard today after lesson... he bought a doraemon laptop bag for me! haha love it lots... and i got ourselves couple hp pouches lol.. happy~~ hehe after that i went hougang swimming with mummy.. now im home, watching the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony. Everything was great, esp the performance with all the huge number of performers... right now, each participating countries' atheletes are marching in... its taking a long time, quite boring so here i am...
well, shall be going to sleep soon, as i woke up early... and ya, today is the last day my bro's GU3400R Nissan is with us.. haha so i woke up early to help him drive it to the car dealer then he sent me to school... he must be happy to get a new car, though its 2nd hand lol...

Watchted Money No enough at PS on thur, it was funny and touching at the same time... a great show, typical of Jack Neo's movie... it brought back memories of the Money No Enough 10 years ago.. it really touches the hearts of Singaporeans..
It was a great day yesterday, 2nd August...
Watched Dark Knight at Suntec.. it was a show with great plot... Went onto the flyer yesterday also ^_^ and it happens to be NDP preview so we got to view fireworks! though not on the flyer, but still get a great view of the fireworks.. and the view on flyer was great, we had a chance to view both day and night scenery cos we went onboard around 7+... haha after that we had chocolate fondue at Marina square Chocz... it was nice, but the portion is more like for 4 persons lol... Really enjoyed myself with Deary yesterday :D
school's reopening tomorrow.. had a five-day week this sem.. though each day only had an average of 3 hours lessons..
time really flies, its lunar seventh month again..

I'm back from Hong Kong!! It was a great trip! Didn't have all the photos with me now so will upload onto facebook after i got them...
Well, I just sold my S500i this morning, and got a new phone, T650i!
Its green in colour! haha.. just came back from gym, will be goin off to tuition before heading for weiai's 21st bday celebration...
Went out with dear ytd to look for weiai's present, and we chose a heart shape necklace from lee hwa jewellery for her.. haha going to change now before im late for tuition lol...

Today is my last day of school experience in CCHMS, it has been a great learning experience for me, all the teachers in the CL dept are very friendly and helpful.. they're generous in guidance also, i really learnt alot of stuff here... My CT is good enough to arrange for me to observe different lessons from differnt teachers everyday, it really benefitted me alot..
i have to say that CCHMS students are really lucky to have so many enrichment courses arranged for them, like broadcasting news and news reporting, tea appreciation (they even have a tea house in the school!) they are really lucky but they never cherish.. it seems that students are also more noisy in class, and as the teachers said, they are 天不怕，地不怕...
But i must say that i really like the school environment, its even better than befoer, with the CCA block renovated and renamed into 日新楼...
And so, I'm now rotting in the computer lab.. supposed to supervise the students to type their essays, but only 2 students are around, seems like a waste of my time.. haha since i got nothing to do, just let them 'make use' of me for the last day ba.. at least she's nice enough to log in her account and let me use the net, else i'll be bored to death hah..
was observing a sec 1 CL class just now, 2 students actually cheated in their test! they were unlucky enough to get caught by Penguin who happens to walk past... wondered how the teacher will handle the matter..

School observation at Rivervale Pri has been good so far... not alot of lessons, at most only 5 lessons(2.5 hrs) per day, haha which means alot of slacking time in the staff room lol.. Am in the pm session so can wake up late lol... Though so, still feel tired out easily =(
Seems like the teachers have to shout almost every lesson... but the kids are cute at times, though they sometimes behave like monsters... lol... hopefully i'll be able to control the kids in future...
Finally meet up with Dear today! Although only for a dinner and some chat, but am happy haha.. I will get well soon de, then I can resume my normal activities! Wanna go watch Get Smart and quite a few other movies..

I'm finally discharged! after a 6d5n stay lol.. so many things happened, made me realised the importance of health, family and frens... Life is really precious, and unpredictable... only 2 days, and the blood platelets can have such a drastic drop... well, at least im fine now ^_^

Watched this on Shiting's blog and find it very nice.. haha its really a nice song, with so many singers, though i din know quite a lot of them.. haha.. watching this makes me feel like going to china again.. though i've always wished to.. haha there are still so many places for me to visit and explore... thats why i really hope to graduate soon and start working, so i'll have money to travel around!

Happy Birthday Gui Hao!
Meet the girls at Clarke Quay before going to Minds' Cafe for games... it was fun! and the place was empty, we were the only ones playing lol hence the service is very good... The mango mousse cake is nice, and am glad that gh likes the bag :D All the games we played were fun, esp the Sleeping queen..
Had a great day at Vivo with Deary yesterday... got gh's present there also.. and you're right dear, its always forgive before forget.. even though its unforgettable, at least it wun be painful anymore... its a great day ^_^

Made Kizhang last week, and passed some to Dear's parents on sat... nothing much to blog about these days, although everyday is a happy day.. haha..
but sometimes things just wun turn out the way i wished it would... there are just things that are unpredictable and uncontrollable, perhaps its all predestined, no matter what i do and how positive i am, things will still happen the way they are meant to happen... i just hate this kind of feeling whereby i cant do anything to 'salvage' the situation because no matter what i do, it doesn't help.. there's nothing i can do at all.. why am i stuck in this situation... 我以为我已经看开了，以为一切都不会出问题，但是我还是没有办法阻止‘它们’的入侵。

Nothing much to blog about these days... Looking forward to HK trip in July, and also researching on where to go during dec holidays.. want to find some places that are not so cold...
since im so free nowadays, been reading 《论语感悟》by 于丹，which is the part 2 of 《论语心得》... bought a copy of 《论语》at the World Book Fair last sat too.. its really a great book.. hav also been playing with Pinkie and going to expend her house soon since I found alot of tunnels and extension while packing the storeroom the other day.. Am also experimenting on more dishes.. cooking yam cake now, hopefully it tastes nice.. will be making Ki Zhang tomorrow for dumpling festival..
Shall blog again later if the yam cake turns out fine LOL

at Singapore Expo now with my Mum, to go to the food fair. Its very crowded, seems like food is still an attractive temptation lol.
Had a great day with tj lib ppl ytd, went to the new bowling centre at downtown east with them, the place is great! Shall go again soon. After the game we went to tm to watch Drillbit Taylor, quite a funny show. We were doing funny stuff inside the cinema, cos we were afraid of dripping the cheese from our nachos onto each other's bag haha
Ana, Bronson got 3rd in class despite getting only 61 for Chinese! :)

Am so happy today! Cos I got a hamster!! Her name is Pinkie, a black bear species!! Its so hard to find it cos normal pet shops never sell.. Managed to find it at Serangoon North.. Shall post up her pics someday..
Busy as i may seem, but i realise that many things are not as unforgettable as I thought.. is it just that my memory is not as good? perhaps its better that we dun use up our so called brain-memory to store too much of the past memories.. will it be better if we just concentrate on the future, planning ahead, and just forget about the past happiness and unhappiness? No, I just want to remember those beautiful memories and forget about the unhappy ones.. its not that easy, especially if something really makes you so unhappy that it affects you so much so that you can't forget it all..
There may come a day when our brain functions just like our thumbdrive, we can choose what to store and what to delete.. in that case, we can choose to delete away those unhappy memories that we dun wish to remember.. will it make the world a better place to live in??
Everything provides us with a learning opportunity, so I think if we just 'delete'away the unhappy memories and forget all about it, we may lose the lessons learnt from that incident as well.. 俗语说：有得必有失。所有的得与失其实都让人领悟某种道理，问题在于我们如何去看待它，我们利用哪一种心境去面对它。正如所有人都不可能是完美的，也不可能凡事都能达到本身所定下的水准与要求。也不是说应该降低水准与要求，只是觉得我们都该坦然面对，接受对方的不完美。可这一切谈何容易？只能不时地提醒自己：我也不是完美的，凭什么要求别人是完美的；我不能凡事都达到对方的要求，又凭什么要求对方一切都能符合我的要求呢？
相信只要所有人都肯用一种将心比心的心态去处世待人，一切都会是美好的，一切都会成为美丽的回忆！

Happy Mother's Day to my dearest Mum!!!
Had dinner at Hiang Suar restaurant at bedok..
Been slacking this holidays, dun think will be looking for any jobs.. haha but am aiming to exercise more lol... at least 3 times a week, which i think is rather reasonable.... hmm chatted with zk the other day, seems tat he has grown more mature over the years, and has changed his perspective in relationships.. well, the fact that he's planning ahead for his future, and wanting to go overseas for studies showed that he has really grown up and no longer the childish boy i used to know..haha..
i guess as we grow, we get to know more people, see and experience more things and hence will be more mature.. i think this is the same as 家有一老，如有一宝。 cos the elderly, or rather ppl who are older tends to have 更多的人生经验，因而也能提供我们更宝贵的意见。相信凡是多听取他人的意见，是有利无弊的吧。
常听人说：“健康就是财富”，总以为那只是老一辈的人的口头禅。但是事实证明并非如此，所有人都应该珍惜自己的健康……

Seems to be blogging lesser during the holidays.. haha.. not that i'm very busy, nor that i have nothing to blog.. sometimes its just not knowing where to start..
had a great day cycling at ECP with Dear last fri! rented 2 hours of bike, cycled till the U-jetty that my parents used to bring me there when i was young.. many beautiful memories.. sat at the break-waters and listen to the waves before heading back.. drank the coconut drink at the hawker -- something i never failed to do when i go cycling at ecp =P
after cycling went to sgh for blood test n appt.. went to the renovated chinatown hawker for dinner, but not many stalls were open..most importantly, my favourite chee cheong fan stall still not open.. haha..
many things await us to explore in life.. many frens, whom i tot are just 'normal' frens turn out to be those i can actually confide in.. but i think all i can do now is to live my life to the fullest, cos there's really no point worrying about the future... though the chances are high, at least its not something fatal, it should be a blessing in disguise i suppose... that made me cherish my life now and treasure the moments i have... I shall overcome the fear!
I still want to travel to many parts of the world.. hope to be able to bring my parents to Yunnan by next year..

Celebrated XR's belated bday on Sat at Marina Square.. Long time since all of us turned up - Guihao, Yuxuan, Sam, Xinrou, Peiwen and me.. had dinner at Cartel, ate the Chicken Chef's salad and it was great..
Miss Tan Wan Ying found a pink bunny 'loitering' or rather 'sleeping' outside her house and she kept her in and named it Pink 耳朵.
Finally found a playground with swing!!! At sun plaza park, read bout it from KJ's blog and so went there with deary... it was great to play the swing again! its a great feeling!!
had always love to play swings since young, and also like to go by the sea.. just sitting there, quietly, listenign to the waves...

Watched The Forbidden Kingdom yesterday with Dear.. the show was ok, its quite an interesting story with interesting characters, but its sort of weird that its in English, and it seems that the script is written in chi den translated into eng.. haha cos some of the dialogues are rather chinese-style..
walked around in Plaza sing, cathay, park mall and istana park.. lol really enjoyed the day^_^

Exams are finally over!!! Had a great day with my classmates after the paper yesterday... was on the way to marina square for bowling, den we passed by Gelaré and realised it is Tuesday!!! so the waffles are half-priced! haha so we sat down and eat our ice-cream waffle.. then we proceed to marina square and played bowling.. had 2 games each, and we were all very tired after the first game... haha too long never exercise already...
after that, went to meet biying and xinrou at vivo! got a cake from Chocz at Marina Square and we celebrated 4 of our birthdays toge at vivo rooftop lol... shopped around before goin home.. had a great post-exam celebration ^_^..

有些部分还蛮准的……这几天都没好好读书，整天想些有的没的，也不知道自己在干什么。有几部想看的电影：The Forbidden Kingdom, Escape from Huang Shi, The Other Boleyn Girl, Definitely Maybe..看来考试后不会空闲了……不知为何，近来总觉得很累，有点心神不定的感觉，好想出国散散心……
