泡沫

悠扬的风铃声似乎是在为嘀嗒嘀嗒的钟声伴奏。夜深人静之时，一切显得那么平静，周遭的人都睡得那么安详。“为什么……”不停地在脑中转动。回忆起从前，一切都变得微不足道。从前看似晴天霹雳的经验，顿时变得那么渺小，根本不值得相提并论。

难道世界上真有解决不了的问题？曾经以为，“天下无难事”能概括所有的事；曾经相信，“皇天不负有心人”是真理；曾经断定，“柳暗花明又一村”会发生在每个人的身上。原来，这一切都只是泡沫……灰飞烟灭了。能否再重拾信心，抗争到底？

幕然回首，发现无论成就多高，都掩饰不了内心的创痛。人生虽很充实——不愁吃、穿；成绩良好；家庭和乐。表面上看来一切都很美好，但这一切是否只是泡沫？

健康为最重要的财富。少了健康，一切都不重要…………

New Doraemon phone!

This is a wonderful Christmas!

On Christmas eve, went for a badminton game in the afternoon with Deary, before going home to change... In the evening, went over to his place first, and he opened his presents haha gave him a Tigger soft toy and a pair of Crocs... after that we went to his cousin's place for X'mas party,

basically just to eat lol.. got shampoo and notebook for gift exchange... after the party, we went Vivocity to watch movie! 2330 movie, so will be counting down in the cinema? Well of cos we didn't do so... was too engrossed in the movie...

Yup we watched Sherlock Holmes! A nice movie!

After movies, cabbed home and then i opened my present... Received a doraemon hp from Deary!

Went to Zoo on Christmas day with Deary, sis and Zan... it was a surprise planned by Zan for my sis, she was shocked to see us hahha.. It was very crowded! Didn't know that so many ppl will go zoo on holidays.. it was tiring but fun... walked around the whole zoo, spent alot of time looking the monkeys and such... my favourite is still the penguins! they have the south africa penguins there very small and cute, just like those in Madagascar the movie...

After zoo, we went 10dollar KTV at Chinatown, sang many songs and we were doing stupid things... It was a fun and fulfilling Christmas day!

Went for tuition today, wanted to give Nic his present, but my blur bro gave away the wrong present, and gave his fren Nic's present instead.. guess will have to give Nic his present nx year lol.. Anyway, really like the present Nic gave me, it was a small wind chime with a little book with inspirational quotes.. the wind chime is now hanging on my window... And also a bottle of red wine, shall save it for farewell party for my bro before he leaves for south africa hhaha...

Forgot to mention that my parents, together with my bro bought me a new cabinet to put my doraemon stuff as my Christmas present! Am so happy! Just finished assembling it, and placed my doraemon stuff inside hahah it's almost full lol... So happy! This is a great X'mas present, but of cos, my results is the best X'mas present for the year ^_^

Results are out! and i'm very happy with my results... did better than what i expect, and improved my CGPA by 0.09! Really glad that I got my first A in NIE hahah..

Well, met up with tjlib ppl yesterday at City Hall, then we went to play bowling at Marina Square, it's been long since I last bowled, so for the first game, did rather badly for 1st few rounds, luckily it got better after a while... Second game was better, managed to score 104, 20 more than 1st game hahah.. had a game of pool after that, wasn't good at it, just played cos the others wanted to do so...

After that we had dinner at Swensen's... Tried the new Chilli crab pasta, tastes good! nice sauce.. after that while waiting for Raf, Sihui and i shared a Banana Crumble... sinful but nice lol indulgence once in a while should be fine =p

Took train with them to Tamp, cos sis sending Zan back home and take something from his house.. and she's not confident to drive alone yet so asked me to meet her to be her passenger home lol.. reached home nearly at 12, so i faster eat the tang yuan, cos my mum say need to eat before the day ends...

Yup so that ends my happy day! Happy for my results, as well as all my frens who did well!

Went Bugis with parents on Sunday, walked around and went temple to pray... It was very crowded.. then we went Bedok, they had early dinner while i walked around first, waiting for Deary to meet me for dinner... we had curry chicken and yong tau hu at Bedok interchange there, yummy food.. after that, since its still early, we decided to walk to Tamp. Safra, cos we meet my sis and Zan for tennis from 8-10pm.. so we slowly walked, and pass by Bedok reservoir, and went to sit down and rest and chat awhile before continue walking... Tennis was great! the weather was cooling too so we enjoyed ourselves.. I think this game was better than the previous one, though we were all still not very good at it... It was home sweet home after the game...

Went to Haw Par Villa yesterday morning... Decided to go there cos last week when we were on our way to Kent Ridge Park, we saw that the bus will pass by Haw Par Villa, so we decided to pay it a visit... the last time(which is also the only time) i visited it was more than 15 years ago... was still in Kindergarden then... Frankly speaking, i can't really remember what was there, could only remember bits through the photos... A nice and interesting trip, went to see the 18 storeys of Hell, seeing what will ppl be punished for their evil deeds during life..

After that, we went Orchard to watch movie.. Watched Bodyguards and Assassins, quite a nice show i think.. after that we shopped around and walked to Dhoby Ghaut... got a few X'mas presents...

Just made Tang Yuan... later going to make some more food haha..

Stayed home whole day yesterday, packing my room, setting up Christmas tree, and placed all presents under the tree alr ^_^ most importantly, to think through carefully and make a decision.. and yup i've finally decided, though it may not be the best, but i believe i alr considered all aspects, and weighed the differences already..

After tuition today, went to eat the famous fried chicken with Nic... too bad its raining, else we'll walk to our destination.. so we ate the fried chicken, and he's saying that i purposely suggest eating this after our bet.. hhaha i'm not that scheming k i alr asked him bout this long ago =p and yeah we up the bet to a watch, hoping that he'll have greater motivation.. but it doesn't really seem to work, cos we had Carl's Junior for dinner lol.. though he ate the low carb veggie burger, its with lots of mayo! anyway, i got a few more doraemon stuff to add to my collection =)

Going to play tennis tomorrow, after a sinful day of eating unhealthy food today =p Results will be coming out soon, the date given is 24th Dec, but usually they'll release few days before the date given, so perhaps mon or tue.. am a little worried, cos of the 2 eng mod this sem, really afraid that they'll pull down my cgpa.. well worrying doesn't helps now, just hope that everything will be ok, cos I've already done my best!

Was talking to my mum yesterday, and then she told me that she's the type who'll do things that she thinks is the best and be happy, and not wait till the future.. i guess she's right, we can't always wait, we should do things that we deemed as correct, and never live with regrets... after seeing my aunt's condition, and some of my fren's situations plus the few incidents I've been through, I realised, that life is really really unpredictable, so always live everyday to the fullest, and follow your dreams.

ok i think this post is a little random..

I suddenly realised that I'm quite fickle-minded.. at least for today, cos for awhile I thought I've made up my decision, but the next moment I think otherwise. LOL. Really dunno how to make the best decision... =(

Went SGH on tue, for review as well as to visit 3rd aunt.. she's hospitalised again, heard that her chemo treatment din went too well =( life isn't all smooth sailing..

Went to few of the national parks on wed.. we started from kent ridge park, walked through the canopy walk, then proceed to hort park.. the flowers in the glass house at Hort park was very nice! played awhile at the playground and rested haha cos it was very hot... yup then we continued walking, passing by Henderson waves, a very nice bridge that links to Telok Blangah hill... we then reached Mt Faber park, this is my first visit there lol really nice place, think it'll be even more nice at night.. i din even know that there's a merlion there! hahah took some photos, then just as we want to leave the park and continued with Marang trail(the trail that leads to Harbour front mrt), we saw a squirrel on a tree trunk! its so cute! all photos on facebook alr ^_^ it was a nice trip, though a little tiring cos we walked for nearly 4 hours, sweating alot.. reminds me of the trip to Bako national park in Kuching-Sarawak this Jun.. it was fun anyway, really enjoyed it!

Received a Christmas card from Doris, thanks gal! haha but i'm not tat strong as you described lol, i just try to make myself live life to the fullest so that i will not have any regrets in future ^_^

Its been an eventful week haha.. Met up for K-lunch with XR, WY and BY on tue, and then we went shopping in Tampines with WY fetching us hah..

Played badminton with Deary on thurs morn, before sending my Olympus camera in for servicing.. The camera cant withstand the cold weather in Shanghai I think, cos it jammed, and cant switch it on/off.. some pictures taken have lines across it as well, sad... anyway, the person recommended me to get the u Tough series, which is shock proof, weather proof and water proof, but its so ex! after the trade in of 20% still costs $470+.. so am still considering if i should get it.. After servicing my camera, went Bugis area to walk around... yeah sometimes shopping around alone is great haha can take my own sweet time looking at things.. went for facial with sis in the evening before heading home..

On fri, went into JB for their K-lunch... walked around, got some doraemon stuff and a top... then had Kim Gary for early dinner cos deary got tuition in the evening... yup i finally got to eat the hotplate haahh.. went causeway point and walk around, looking for my sis bday present, but cant find any... went compass point after that and met my bro while he have dinner and i have dessert cos i'm too full to eat..

Tuition at TM yesterday, had a bet with Nicholas, he's supposed to lose 4kg by 16Jan2010.. whoever loses the bet will buy a book for the other party.. Well i think this is one bet that i dun mind losing hhah... After tuition yesterday, went Orchard to meet deary, sis and zan.. cos sis signed up for spa package and she's bringing us to use the facilities.. haha its quite relaxing, but the treatments are so expensive! doubt i'll ever sign up lol since i dun like massage...

Went for a spontaneous outing with wanying, xinrou and shiting today... nice wy offered to pick us and drive us around to city hall/bugis area... and i finally got my tennis racket, bought Prince racket... Left earlier to play tennis at bedok... nice and fun game, though all of us dun really know how to play, but quite a nice workout.. aftertat we went 85 hawker to have bah chor mee, satay and hokkien prawn mee... nice food! lucky my bro is at bedok area so he can fetch me home hahaha...

shall go and sleep now, having an early christmas gathering cum gift exchange with the gals tmr... cos many of them going overseas soon..

Day in Orchard

Watched Couples Retreat at Orchard Cine yesterday, wanted to watch it cos the island is very nice, seems like a great getaway place haha...

Anyway, went to Orchard 313, i din even know its opened, just happened to pass by so went to take a look, and Uniqlo was having opening sale.. their jeans are selling at only 19.90! but i din get any cos for ladies its all skinny jeans, and i dun really like the colors.. deary got 2 jeans instead haha looks nice ^_^

we went orchard central for quizinos sandwich, tastes great! had wanted to eat but the past few times we went there we were too full to eat so finally satisfied our cravings yesterday haha.. shopped around orchard, and got a few christmas presents and a top for myself.. really happy day~~

Back from Shanghai!

Am back from 8days Shanghai trip! Went to Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Wuxi.. 杭州西湖的景色最为优美, 西唐水乡的风景也很迷人。参观了好几个古镇，都类似云南大理、丽江的古城，有小桥、流水、人家。到哪里购物当然也非常愉快，既能享受讨价还价的乐趣，又能买到价廉物美的东西^_^

由于天气寒冷，吃得也特别多，几乎每晚都吃宵夜。他们的路边摊档卖的烧烤、麻辣烫、炒面、炒饭、鸭血粉丝等都非常好吃。不过，我们住的酒店就不是特别好，都没有浴缸。还是上回到云南的酒店较好。买了好多小叮当的东西，我家的两个橱窗都没位子摆了，看来要再增添一个新的橱窗了。

As usual, since we went with tour group, went to alot of designated shopping areas, selling jade, pearl, silk, piqiu, chinese tea and chinese medicine.. waste of time, but no choice, all tour groups have this, luckily ours is a big group, so got alot of ppl buy and they wun target us haha..

It was an enjoyable trip, visiting nice places, eating nice food and cool weather.. i guess my parents are looking forward to the next year end holiday trip alr ^_^

It's over!

Finally all exams are over! Would say that all 5 papers aren't difficult, but dunno if i'm able to score.. well, i did my best alr so no regrets! Shall go and enjoy my holidays in China!!

Will be flying off in 12hours time hhahah.. after arriving in Shanghai, will be taking coach to suzhou... looking forward to Suzhou and Hangzhou, cos of the saying 上有天堂，下有苏杭, and since 天堂 is something that seems so unreal, shall go visit 苏杭! shall go hangzhou xi hu to immerse myself in the writer's feelings lol.. “西湖亭看雪”, and it really came out during the exams! hah only one, you remember wat i told u the other time? (rgding teacher shake lol)

am so excitedd bout the trip ^_^

Two more papers to go... but it means only6 more days to my Shanghai trip!!! yeah hahah

After paper yesterday, went out to watch '2012', and its a great movie!! would definitely recommend it! the effects were great and it was sure exciting! there's no moment that you'll feel bored though its a 2.5h movie..

okies have got nothing much to blog about, just that recently it seems that a few of my frens lost their loved ones, and got to know that my aunt contracted cancer.. so to everyone out there, lets enjoy every moment of life and cherish everyone around us... life is really unpredictable... for those who're still struggling for exams like me, work hard and play hard after that! ^_^

Changi Seaview Chalet before exams

At Changi Seaview chalet with family again haha, although my exams are next week, but still going to spend 3d2nights here haha... had bbq earlier on, ate alot and had fun bbq-ing... well, i did manage to study a little in the afternoon.. or rather, just made some notes for my language acquisition... i guess i should start studying for amx or chinese history haha but i dunno how to start..

going to have steamboat dinner tmr, so got to drive my mum to bedok market in the morn to get some food... maybe i'll attempt to read up on amx in the afternoon hahah...

Attended Selina's 21st party last night, at Top of the M restaurant.. Its supposed to be a revolving restaurant, but its not revolving, think its due to the renovation works... Anyway, it happened to be the lighting up of Christmas lights at Orchard, so it was crowded... Had a great night with the gals, doing crazy stuff, with xr and gui-low posing and acting cute hahah..

Now i need to do work.... have to finish my essay by tonight den have to start studying!

Last day of school

Last day of school today... But this12days of 'holiday' before the start of exams, is for us to prepare for 5 modules... I think Chinese history alone is enough to kill, plus history of Chinese literature(the teacher even expects us to read additional materials), I wonder how I'm going to study LOL... But here I'm, at the new City Square mall at Farrer park, rotting at Mac's... Dunno why, but just don't feel like going home, don't want to face the stacks of notes LOL...

Back to the new shopping mall, it's rather big, but not all shops are opened yet... That's why it's not as crowded.. Cos I went bugis junction earlier on, and it's very very crowded over there. So I'd prefer it here more, the Mac has plenty of seats for me n not as rowdy, so I can read my papers in peace haha. Anyway, walked from bugis, passing by little India... Hmm to think of it, this is like only the third time I went little India, the previous 2 times were for project purposes... So today is actually the first time I went for leisure.. Eh not exactly so, I just walked past LOL

Somehow it seems that this sem is really hectic for many ppl, co alot of my frens are very stressed up over project deadlines and assignments, examms etc... for myself, i dun tink i'm tat stressed, but this sem is really a little more busy than before, perhaps cos the assignments and tests are spread thruout the sem... got back SG chinese assignment, though no grades given, but looking at his comments, i roughly know how i fare... I must say he's a great teacher, one of the better ones that i've met in nie.. he's the type who can really inspire ppl, this sort of reminds me of chenjiajun... haha anyway, all i can do now is to spend more time to prepare for exams.. but then again, its not the amount of info we gave, he cares more on our own opinions... so i've got to think of 'unique' views that he has never seen before lol.. hope i can fall back on my other modules to at least maintain my gpa...

Less than 1 month before Shanghai trip, but it seems so far away hahah and i dun wish for it to come so soon either.. cos i haven started studying for my exams yet! haven even finish all my assignmnets hahah.. shall go read up on the books on eunuch that i borrowed....

This week is more peaceful, in a sense, cos no assignments due, other than amx e-learning.. but its only 500 words so still not that bad... went out with Doris on Friday to celebrate her 21st birthday in advance.. haha not really celebrate la, just a lunch toge and we shopped at bugis street for 3 hours! hah i got a pair of shoes, a dress and a top.. she get quite alot of stuff too, so it was a fruitful shopping trip for both of us.. i think its a great de-stress method in the midst of all these assignment deadlines lol...

well, but i got to cancel all my tuitions on sat, cos am not feeling well.. sorry papa and mama to make you all so worried about my condition.. and also Deary who's been very worried also.. i will take good care, i promise, and keep myself happy and cheerful always.. cos i think being too troubled/stressed/depressed will worsen my condition... and thats why i got a flare, due to the sadness i'm suffering from the week before... too many issues at the same time, i didn handle them well, and caused my own health to suffer, and caused my parents to worry so much... haiz... i really hope they wun have to worry so much for me, although i know its impossible, but the only thing i can do is to keep myself healthy and not having any flares....

after eating more medicine, i tink i'm getting better... not tat tired easily... maybe i really shouldn't worry too much in future.. but its not my choice either, it just so happens tat too many unhappy things happen to me at one go, that makes me so vulnerable, that makes the anti-bodies 有机可乘…………

saw this nice pair of green new balance shoes.. been contemplating to get them, but i seldom wear this kind of shoes, cos its not meant for sports... and for normal walking i'd prefer to wear slippers/sandals.. but it looks really nice... been yearning to get a pair of nice green shoes since i never had one before haha..

Long weekend!

Well, Lily and David came over for mahjong last night... erm they actually said they would come at 8plus, but in the end they reached at 12plus lol... and was watching so boliao youtube videos with deary while waiting for them.. so we played 1 round, and was 3plus alr, so they went home hahah.. not bad at least i got to win one game of 5tais hehe..

Hmm i guess everything turned out ok? hopefully we made the right decision, and won't regret haha.. Thx deary for everything, and hope u really wun change your mind again =p Welll i really enjoyed myself yesterday, though its only like lazing around doing work toge, playing games, watching videos, jogging and buy stuff hah but i really like the feeling =D

Anyway, went to visit 3rd aunt yesterday afternoon... cos last week no time to go hospital visit her.. quite sad, hopefully her condition will be good... hopefully the diagnosis will say that she's fine after operation.. when we visited her ytd, she was telling us about how she worked hard when she was young, hoping to retire by the age of 50 (cos she calculated and said that by the age of 50 she'd saved enough money to provide for the rest of her life)... however, illness came knocking on her door... all the money she worked hard to save for, became the medical fees.. haiz.. such is life, you'll never know what is upcoming and what it has in store for you... really hoping that she'll be fine...

the first step has been taken, hopefully it'll be a good one ^_^

This isn't a good week.. although am not as busy as last week, but am more troubled cos of 2 issues......

Long weekend ahead since no lessons on mon.. but doesn't have the 'holiday mood' cos i guess there's too much on my mind that everything else became of less importance... for the past 2 days, nothing gets registered in my brain during lessons, things doesn't taste the same as before.. seems that everything isn't the same again.. haiz but the problem isn't something that can be solved easily.... i dunno if i should place others before me or place myself before others.. i really dunno... why can't life be simpler??

也许，是我们都还不够成熟，应该多等几年吧。好痛心，因为善意的举动，换来的却是无穷的烦恼以及他人的误解······是因为我的“多事”所以才会这样，那我岂不是咎由自取的？

This is my blog's 300th post!

Anyway, it has been a busy week, with the Language acquisition test and SG Chinese report due... well so have 50% of both modules have been submitted, hopefully they helped.. Actually I think the test was rather easy in the sense that the things are all in the notes, and as long as we studied, should be able to do it, but since its this case, being able to do well and score is another matter lol...

Not only is sch work busy, have some other problems too.. haiz.. not my own prob actually, but somehow it affected me, and its quite disturbing... maybe time really will 冲淡感情？usually couples wun be as loving or behave the same way when they're toge for long compared to when they just got toge... or is it becos ppl expect more as the r/s grows and hence will be more disappointed when things dun go the same way they expect? okies i'm confused now cos i dunno whose prob am i really describing.. sometimes i just hope that i can 'ignore' somethings and pretend that i din know about it...

Well, AMX essay due next wed, but i haven really started on it..... waiting for somebody to help me lol

和家人一起在家里享用晚餐后便到公园吃月饼、喝茶、玩蜡烛。

看起来像是美味可口的糕点对吧？其实是用蜡制成的！绿色那块是我做的。

Went for Pink Ribbon Walk this morning at ECP, ya its called a 'walk' so everybody is walking... but well, i sort of forced Deary to run the last half of the journey (2.5km) with me hahah so we did a slow jog... Was nice to run in the morning, cos i feel refreshed after that... Went Singpost for early lunch, since the event ended early around 10.. wanted to eat Suki sushi, but its not opened yet, so we went to the foodcourt... Went for tuition after that, and gave them the piglet biscuits haha hopefully they like it, cos i personally like it very much!

Went Costa sands chalet at Sentosa with Deary for our 26th monthsary... Walked around the nature trail, and realised that there's this Megazip thingy there, which is like some obs obstacle course! seems very fun and exciting! shall get more ppl to join us for that hahh there's even a flying fox from the mountain top to the siloso beach island..

Received the big dorayaki soft toy and the sand-made doraemon pic from deary.. haha he was wearing the reebok sports shirt that i got him, was a plot to get him to exercise more =p thanks Deary for the big dorayaki!

Recess week is coming to an end, but i have yet to start studying for Language Acquisition test on coming wed! Luckily the SG chinese essay is more or less done, left only some parts to edit.. Must start studying tomorrow!

Went Minds Cafe with NIE gals on Fri to celebrate Yanxin's 21st! Happy belated 21st birthday Yanxin! So honoured that you left your actual birthday for us to celebrate with you ^_^ Played the usual games like Ticket to Ride, Ugly Dolls, Pictureka (dunno if i spelled correctly) and also the dinosaur bone game.. think we really were engrossed in the bone game lol shall not elaborate here but its real fun! Went Orchard with Mum after that for dinner, as well as to collect my running tee for the Pink Ribbon Run/Walk that i signed up for... tried some mooncakes at Taka also, the traditional yam pastry mooncake taste delicious! my mum loves it too haha..

Had tuition as usual on Sat, Bronson's exams are nearing, so got to increase tuition to twice a week, but am not confident that it'll help much... anyway, gave him Children's day present- Spongebob pencil case and stationary set, glad that he liked it and he doesn't have them yet.. cos he likes spongebob alot, and also have a display cabinet full of spongebob stuff in his room.. hahah.. tuition at TM, as usual, Sherwin bragged about his 'nice' drawing... their exams are also coming, hopefully they'll do well, all the best to them!

After tuition, went Woodlands to meet up with Deary before going JB for Xiaoshan's 21st bday.. we shopped around for awhile at City Square before goign to her house... her house is really big lol, think its like the size of 3 semi-d in Sg lol... and the food was great! and the cakes and chocolates are all handmade.. Xiaoshan looks gorgeous too! haha hope she enjoyed herself...

This week is Recess week, but there seems to be endless things to do.. shall enjoy, as well as work hard! ^_^

Eventful long weekend

What a great weekend! Many exciting stuff happened over the long weekend! On friday, went for badminton as usual with Deary.. after that, went for facial before coming home... Upon reaching home, mum says she wants to go Orchard and see if there's any suitable clothes to buy for Huizhu's wedding... so we went Orchard, but in the end, my mum didn't get any clothes, but i got a short cardigan instead lol... had fried oyster for supper at the kopitiam style food stalls beside le meridian... it tastes great! just like the one that they had near somerset mrt years ago...

Went for tuition as usual on Sat, gave Nic his watch, glad he likes it ^_^ wanted to go cycling after tuition, but weather was not good, so after passing mooncakes to deary's mum, we proceed to watch movie instead... watched The Ugly Truth

It was a hilarious movie, and quite true in some of the things they say, that made people understand more about how the opposite sex thinks... had sushi at nihon mura also, finally satisfied my craving for spicy salmon sushi.. hahah.. went home late evening after movie, and did some manicure before sleeping...

Sunday, 20/09/2009 is the big day for my cousin Huizhu and Edwin! went over to her house at 6am, changed into the nice green dress hahah and soon after, the bridegroom arrived with his brothers.. think they got in too easily, cos of time constrain lol... went over to bridegroom's house for tea ceremony and stuff before coming back,.. though busy, was happy for the both of them... went back home around noon, and slept awhile in the afternoon, before preparing to go for the wedding dinner at hotel rendevous.. will not upload photos here since they're all on facebook...

Monday is Mum's birthday! treated her for dinner at hiang suar again.. hah wanted to try a new teochew restaurant at bedok 85, but didn't make reservations as we did not expect it to be so crowded.. hahah so in the end, ate at hiang suar again... but food was great, as usual hahha.. glad that mum loves the wallet that we got her ^_^

Happy birthday to my mum!

Finally finished the History of Chinese literature test.. all the 4 questions that came out for section B are those that i did not really study hard for, as in i did not really go memorise the points.. as for Section A, am quite confident, but i guess everyone will think the same.. haaha so for the 2 questions we hav to do for section B, chose 2 that im more familiar with, managed to crap 1 page each lol.. okies, its only 20% of the module, so still not that bad, just have to work harder for exams lol...

Hmm last fri bro drove parents and me into JB, had Bah Kut Teh, haha very nice! then we shopped around in Giant and bought some food back, later in the evening went jogging with bro to Rivervale Mall... first visit to the Daiso there ever since it opened, was rather big haha..

Huizhu's Hen's party on Sat, so after tuition, I head to Bugis to get a present, then meet my sis and go for the hip-hop class.. its a 2hour lesson, so just learnt the steps for one song.. think its quite difficult considering all of us has no dance backgrounds(other than mass dance in JC)... haha but it was fun and enjoyable! After the dance lesson, we went for steamboat at House of Steamboat at Tan quee lan st... the food is nice, at least fresher than la mei zi.. and i like the man tou with condensed milk that they served also.. so we had our sumptuous dinner before fang suggested going KTV... so we went Party world at Chinatown, was really ulu, din even know that place existed lol, its on top of the big this fashion at chinatown... so we sang from 9-12mn before sharing cab home... was really fun, hopefully huizhu enjoyed herself too! Coming sunday will be her chinese customary wedding as well as wedding dinner, really happy for her, hope she'll lead a blissful life with Edwin!

Suddenly, there seems to be alot of assignments and tests due the week after recess week, which is just 3 weeks from now.. luckily i din plan any holiday trip for the recess week, else will sure have no time for work... Okies i shall go swimming later on, trying to embark on a healthier lifestyle lol..

Watched G-Force over the weekend, and the guinea pigs are all so cute!! esp the 2 black ones who has some color as pinkie hahah..

Went down to Chinatown both on fri and sun, and finally, booked the tour for year-end holiday! Will be going for 8 days trip to Shanghai/Suzhou/Hangzhou/Nanjing and Wuxi, looking forward to it ^_^, finally can treat my parents to a trip! too bad my bro not going, else will be even more fun.. well its still a long time away from dec, so ya, back to reality, have to study first.. wait till i finish my exams then can ennjoy...

As usual, having a 4 hour break in sch now... well at least i can spend the time doing some useful stuff like reading up on notes and doing assignments.. cos i think i'll most prob sleep or watch tv or just slack around if i'm back home... there's a test on next wed, and there's like so much to study but i haven even printed out those notes... =p

anyway, am very happpy to have settled the year-end China trip ^_^

AMX tutorial this morning, my tutor made a rather interesting remark, which is an observation that she made about Singaporeans. We were discussing recognition, identity and stuff regarding racial and religious differences in Singapore, with the Tudong incident in 2002 as case study.. She then said: "People(Chinese Christians) are using western lens to view their own native culture." Cos she said she noticed that alot of those who thinks that Taoist beliefs are superstitious are mostly the Chinese Christians, and the other races usually would not say so... Well I think it is quite a good point brought up, cos this is a common phenomenon in SG.. I think this module really is about discussing the racial and religious differences.. My tutor also mentioned that we cannot call ourselves a multi-cultural society if there are no understanding and interactions between people of different cultures.. To a certain extend then, Singapore is not a multi-cultural society! cos people usually don't understand the cultures and practices of other religions and races.. We do know about the existence of such cultures and practices, but more often than not, we do not understand the true rationale behind it, and will think that they are not of equal worth as our own cultures..

Yet another week has passed, seems like my weekdays are really busy, that I don't even have the time to blog... Well, except for thurs and fri, I seems to be reaching home quite late..

Anyway, watched Final Destination 4 in 3D yesterday, and I must say that the effects are really good!! It's really as if the things are flying towards you.. Although the story line is pretty boring, as in its expected what will happen... Its just seeing how the ppl die lol... I think the most gory scenes are the women getting crushed by the tyre, and the one being rolled up into the escalator haha.. was expecting they'll show more gory scenes for the swimming pool guy, but they didn't =p

Since this is both our first 3D movie, we took a photo in the cinemas with our specs lol... after the movie, went to walk around in Suntec, and had Happy meal, cos the toy is doraemon! haha sis alr got the 2nd toy which is the time machine for me, and i got the 1st toy which is the rolling stamp thingy ytd..

As for today, after praying for the 7th month at home, went Ion Orchard to have the 1-for-1 Ice-cream and dessert buffet

Had ice creams, waffles, fruits with choco fondue and some cakes.. was really full haha.. after the delicious feast, we went paragon to get our phones.. yup i finally got my W508 ^_^

I got the white one of cos, think the grey looks too dull, and most importantly, the white one has got green buttons! lol.. well, shall go off to sleep now since i need to wake up early tmr...

Anyway, hopefully Deary enjoyed himself as much as I did over the weekend ^_^

Great Weekend!

I had a great weekend! Except for the little incident on sat evening that made me a little unhappy, but luckily everything was resolved soon ^_^

Well, after tuition for Bronson on Fri, went out for dinner with parents... They suddenly decided to have KFC, so we went all the way to Bedok KFC.... It was very crowded, and brought back memories that my dad used to bring our whole family there on Sundays after swimming... So after the delicious meal, we walked around Bedok Central for awhile.. Then Dad suggested going to East Coast Park, hahah so we went to ECP and took a stroll along Bedok Jetty... Again, many wonderful childhood memories came back, when my Dad always went fishing there and we'll go cycling and have lots of fun... Sometimes we will pitch a tent, and stayed overnight, was really fun back then..

Tuition for Bronson again on Sat morn, and he gave me a solar powered Doraemon (those that will nod the head) as Teacher's Day present as there'll be no lesson next week... Hopefully he'll do well for his CA! Tuition at The Mentor, Sherwin's face was 'nicely' decorated by Jurgen, until he looked like some ppl going for halloween party lol..

Went home after tuition, before going Punggol to try on the bridesmaid dresses for HuiZhu's wedding.. Now we're choosing between green and blue, of cos I chose green! But have to wait for 2 others to make their choice before we make e final decision.. hopefully it'll be green hahah!

Meet Leo at City Hall, and watched The Proposal at Marina Square, it was a funny show, lightens up my heart and makes me forget bout the unhappy incident before e show... well its actually because my tutorial timeslot got changed to another day, and just nice I had another lesson on, so cant make it for the tutorial... But i'm supposed to do a presentation with a partner for that tutorial, and i've alr prepared my stuff, yet now i cant make it for e tutorial.. initially tot the tutor will want me to change topic and present in the later weeks, so was feeling abit upset since i've alr prepared my stuff... luckily my tutor say can just let my partner present my part... but its abit unfair to her, since she got to present 2 persons' share.. well thats the best alr luckily it din affect me much =p

Went Cafe Cartel after movie and had some snacks and cheesecake, then chatted awhile before heading home.. It was a great day!

Today was Leo's Dad's Birthday, so I went over with a cake... Got the Mango Mousse Cake from Galicier Confectionary at Serangoon Central, the cake was nice with generous servings of mango chunks... Slurps! Went for dinner at Ah Yat Abalone Restaurant, with his family and some of his dad's students... had a very very filling dinner, really love the 竹蚌, i think its called bamboo clams.. as we were so full after the dinner, we walked to clarke quay... after his parents went home, we took a stoll along the sg river, and then sat by e riverside, watching ppl playing the reverse bungee... it looks so fun! really wan to try it someday, too bad Leo dun dare to take haha hopefully will be able to find some frens who's willilng to take it with me lol.. Its home sweeet home now, a busy but fulfilling weekend! Had a great time with my beloved family and deary!

Looking forward, a new week ahead, really have to start working!!! Its week 3 alr, but I think i'm still in holiday mood! Shall really start on my readings...

Bored in school

Well after 2 days of MC which I spent sleeping at home, am back in school.. Just ended Singapore Chinese tutorial, having a 2 hour break before next tutorial.. So bored... Missed AED and AMX lessons, hopefully it won't affect me too much.. Shall start preparing for my presentation next fri...

Went for tuition in the morning, feel kinda helpless cos I really don't know how can I really help Bronson.. He really needs more exposure to Chinese and speak more in Chinese, but my tuition is only once a week, can't help him much also... Although he speaks better now than before(when I just started teaching him), he used to speak like an angmoh, cos he speaks English all the time... Now its abit better, but he is still unable to read alot of words, and also cant understand alot of words... Am really worried for him...

Anyway, went to watch Where Got Ghost with parents, Leo, sis & Zan at Tampines this afternoon... It was very funny, only a little bit scary (I don't usually watch ghost movies, yet I think its not very scary), yup so it was rather nice, the cinema is filled with laughter.. I love to watch comedies...

After the movie, went to City Hall with Leo, wanted to spend my $2o Robinsons voucher which will expires at the end of the month, but didn't get anything... Walked around Raffles City, then we went Esplanade.... Had dinner at Ichiban, I really love the lobster salad sushi there haha taste really good! Had a walk around Marina Promenade, discussed about some religious issues, and it really isn't a good topic to touch on... I don't like to, I don't wish to, but sometimes its not a matter of choice... Somethings have to be discussed... The problems will be around, even if we avoided talking about them... I just hope that things will get better... There are no right or wrong answers, only whether we can accept.. Really hope that I willl accept and stick on with my own choice.. I have faith that I made the right decision 2 years ago, and I shall believe in us.... ^_^

Went out to Bugis after tuition today with Nic, cos I wanted to borrow Coelho Paul's book from the lib.. Read The Alchemist by the him, and the book was inspiring, so I decided to read his other books... Cos the train ride to school every morning is boring... Dun feel like reading my lecture notes also =p

And these are what we had for dinner! This special burger, dunno what is it called, but there's bacon and egg inside, taste good!

I had the fried noodles with fish fillet. Though its only like fried instant noodles, but it was great, and very filling too! I especially like the cheese sauce on the fish fillet hahah so sinful... Anyway, we ate these at a coffee shop opp Bugis Junction, the name of the stall is Macau Munch...

Got this Doraemon frame and water bottle from Nic haha they were on sale! The price for these 2 cant even get me 1 if they weren't on sale... and the bottle is in my favourite green!

Had Starbucks at Compass Point and chatted before going home... it was nice listening to the different 'stories' :p

Think I'll have difficulty sleeping cos of the coffee lol, but never mind, my tuition is at 10.30am tmr, so can sleep in late... Will be going to watch Where Got Ghost with family tmr, hopefully its not too scary, cos I dun watch movies with ghosts...

The new sem is going to be a busy one, and I really have no confidence in doing well for the pedagogy modules cos I'm not good at writing essays(English ones of cos), they always pull my grades down... anyway, I sense that the Singapore Chinese class is going to be interesting as well as challenging, cos the tutor will be posing a lot of thought-provoking questions which requires critical thinking. Well, many people ask me why I did not choose the translation module, cos most of the Singaporeans in my class chose that, and all the Malaysians did not choose that... I really feel that my English is not up to the standard, I think my English is really below average, so I have no confidence to take the translation module... Am I one of the product of the so called ineffective bilingualism policy? Cos I dun think both my languages are proficient...

Back to School!

Week 1 of school has ended... My timetable isn't that fantastic, but since there's no Eng modules in the first week, it made my week better... Well, nothing much to look forward to the weekend also, perhaps goiong to watch Where Got Ghost with family on Sunday..

oh ya, and why havent my aaj331 tutorial group been allocated?? makes me still unable to decide which days to put my tuition on... sometimes, living for oneself will make a person happier... it sounds selfish, haha but i think this is to prevent oneself from getting hurt... maybe should think more for myself than for others? =p

Orchard!!!

Just went to Orchard Ion and shopped around, nothing much to buy cos it's all the branded stuff.. Finally satisfied my Subway craving earlier on haha too bad they didn't have peanut butter cookie.. Will be watching G.I Joe at 6pm at Lido later, so am rotting now at Starbucks. Tried looking for my Nekermann sandals at Robinsons but cant find... Cant use my 20 dollars voucher le... think will be going to Orchard Central later cos there's a photo exhibition...

School will be starting tomorrow, and my lesson will end at 7.30! Got 8.30 lesson on wed also, sianz,... Hopefully the new sem will be a great one! Just hope to maintain my GPA at least..

Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!

Its National Day today, but I still got to head out to meet my supervisor early in the morning. Well its ok since I already predicted that it'll be a short meeting since I'm only supposed to observe during the 5 weeks and not doing any teaching.. So I shall stick to my 'story' and told him that I didn't teach or mark anything... After the meeting I just head home for lunch, then played card games with my family till evening time lol..

Watched the NDP parade on tv, and it was great! Much difference from the usual routine stuff.. After the NDP show, watched The Myth, and the story is still as touching, and I really loved the song hahah that explains why I chose it as my ringtone ya...

Hmm last evening went for dinner with family and Leo at City Plaza's Arnold's(its a Muslim operated fastfood restaurant that serves nice fried chicken!) though sinful and fattening, but the food was great! Even better than KFC! Well, thanks bro for fetching us to Tiong Bahru to watch the movie UP after dinner, most prob cos he see Leo's leg still haven't really recover... The movie was alright, not as good as I'd expected it to be, but generally still nice and cute...

Will be going to Orchard ION tomorrow with Leo! Yeah only passed by there with family last week, didn't really shop inside.. Shall go and explore the place tmr, as well as Orchard Central, if we have time... Hopefully his leg is ok already and won't hurt while he walks...

Had a game of mahjong with lily they all last night... quite fun actually but poor deary's leg still hurts, so sad cant even walk properly now... hmm tonight will be having bbq, gonna eat loads of food again hahah... and most prob we'll be having steamboat tmr! yeah at least its something healthy hahah...

Changi Seaview Chalet

At SAF Changi Seaview Chalet now... it has got nice seaview, haha so nice and relaxing... just came back from dinner at Changi Village hawker, had the famous nasi lemak, and it was good! taste much better than what i ate years ago lol... there's a nice stretch of road/trail just outside the chalet, hope to be able to go and waalk, but deary's leg hurts, so dunno if we can still go walk=( nvm maybe tmr morn go walk with my mum... sadz, the cycling trip to ubin got to be cancelled also... dunno when can hav a chance to go again.......

lily they all are coming over for mahjong later! hopefully they'll come on time haha cos i'm bored now hahah...

Its been 2 years, many many happy memories we had together... Of cos there are also unhappy memories, but its ok, we all learn and grow through mistakes =)

Had a great day today at Vivo+Sentosa! Meet up with Deary and we went crabbing at Nosignboard restaurant at Vivo city! Had chilli crab, sambal kangkong and a few other dim sum... The crab was great! haha really enjoyed ourselves feasting the crabbie...

After the sumptuous lunch, we proceed to Sentosa... we decided to go Underwater World, where there was a large crowd.. haha its nice to see all the fishes, now we can even touch the fishes in the tanks! and walking in the tunnel looking at the fishes is fun too! dunno why, but i love to see the stingrays swimming pass, esp if they swam at the top of the tunnel, then we can see their white body hahah.. well after that we went to dolphin lagoon to watch the nice dolphins perform.. the performance was great, but again, there was a huge crowd, mostly tourists, so it was very hot...

We then went for the Sky Luge + Sky ride! Deary was rather reluctant to try out the skyluge initially cos he's afraid that it'll be very fast and scary.. haha but luckily i said we should try, cos we got $3 off if we purchased both rides... yup so we tried, and it was fun! He even said he wan to try again! haha next time we'll go and play more times...

After that we went for a walk along the beach before waiting to watch Songs of the Seas.... took this at the beach, nearing sunset... its so nice...



i took few pics during Songs of the Seas with my phone, but i think this is the nicest.... the effects are really nice ^_^


so after the show, we take the skyride up to the Imbiah station to take the sentosa express... luckily we did that, hhaha cos the queue at the beach station(where the Songs of the Seas is at) is so long that think we need to wait for at least 3-4 trains lol... yup the skyride was fun too, but we still think the luge is more fun hahah...

yup then its back home! took some pics of our presents.. hahah so happy to receive the flowers+bear&choco from deary this morn... lol so much for the surprise haa its quite funny... and of cos, am delighted to receive this nice musical ferries wheel too!



yup and deary was holding his card and the glass personalised gift i made for him...


this was taken 2 days ago when i bought the guitar and brought to his house and gave him a surprise.. yup he just woke up hahha thats why he looks so seh... or is he too engrossed in his new toy? hahah he din even know that i took this pic of him..

Punggol North had this Racial Harmony day celebration on Sunday evening.. There's a street parade, plus a cultural food fair, with many religious organisations providing free food... So after the game of badminton with Deary at Greendale, I went to the celebration with my mum, ate quite alot of food, like Kueh Tutu, mee goreng, mee siam, peking duck, carrot cake etc.. It was very crowded, and this is a rather rare scene to see in Punggol new town haha except on peak hours on trains lol.. after the feast, went back home and touch up on my ppt slides for next day's lessons...

Monday is the first day i tried teaching... used the Iflashbook to teach the P2s, and the ppt slides to teach the P4s... well few points to take note from my CT is that i need to raise my voice abit for the P2s else they wun be scared... as for the P4s, she said that i need to slow down abit and ask them more questions.. haha well i guess everything went on quite smoothly, and she commented that my slides are nice hahah... yeah!

today went thru a compre with the p4s, then ask them about the chap i taught yesterday... glad that they're able to grasp the meaning behind the story... Went home to sleep awhile, and prepare new ppt lesson for P2s, and then went out to Vivo city to meet up with my sis and cousins+her frens, to discuss bout her wedding stuff... first time being a jie-mei for a wedding, seems like there're lots of stuff to prepare and take note of... but i think its goign to be fun! haha

oh ya, and its racial harmony celebration in our sch today, so we hav to wear ethnic costumes, and they only informed us ytd... luckily i can still fit into the blouse i bought during sec sch hahah... but looks like a red ang-bao.. well its ok, most of the kids are wearing red/pink also, so it kind of feels like CNY...

Last sun, went to the Hokkaido food fair at TM.. it was so crowded... the food was rather ex over there, but there are still so many ppl lol.. din really see anything special or nice, so we din get much except for the 1-for-1 strawberry mousse that they're having promotion lol...



This was the strawberry mousse we got, it looks like some strawberry icecream.. and tastes really nice...



Halfway through eating, got a surprise! As there's a layer of cheesecake beneath the strawberry mousse! it was great! hahah a nice dessert after lunch ^_^


On Wed evening, went Hougang for badminton with deary from 4-6, then we go to Hougang Ave.8, there's is restaurant style western food in a coffeeshop... the price is ok just typical western food prices in coffeeshop, but the they serve like a restaurant! there's even a menu! haha so we ordered our food and enjoyed them..



I had this Hotplate Black pepper chicken, though a little too salty, but its nice! the chicken is tender and not too oily!

there's also a soup with garlic bread, and a small choco fondue as dessert, so we were really full after the meal.. so we walked a few bus stops down to take a bus home..

there'll be more badminton sessions to come next week, its a good way of relaxing, so i should engage in this kind of activity more often.. ^_^ shall try to prepare for my lessons next week, yeah I'll be teaching! hahah hopefully it'll be a good experience...

Went for a game of badminton at Tampines before going for Dim Sum buffet at Excelsior hotel on Youth day holiday... The food was great! We tasted almost all the dim sum items except for a few fried ones... It cost only $12.90++ per adult on weekdays for lunch, so i think its quite worth it ^_^

For the rest of the week, was just bored in school, observing lessons and assisted my CT in controlling the class abit.. Walked around and check that they did their work etc.. Luckily got to walk around, else I'll sure fall asleep in class lol..

Thurs went to PS to meet deary after school before goin for Peiwen's 21st birthday party.. walked around in PS, wanted to watch movie, but seems that there isn't any nice ones, or rather, we've watched all those that's nice now... so we went to Secret recipe and had their tea-time cake special, had this Apple Crumble cheesecake, it was delicious! hhah then afterthat went Kovan Melody for PW's bday party at evening... played Wii overthere, played mario-kart, it was fun and funny hahah, also played bowling and tennis...

Just came back from tuitions, later going to play table-tennis! hahah den lily they all will be coming over for mahjong, yes mahjong again lol... since they drive and i dun hav to leave my house, i dun mind lol...

After 2 sessions of tutions ytd, went home to change before going for a last min decided badminton session with deary at Greendale Pri... had difficulty finding the entrance to the sch, cos i tot we can get in thru the main gate.. it turns out that only one door at the other end(near punggol plaza) is open, so by the time we got into the hall, we're late for almost half the session hahah but luckily the person in charge is nice enough to allow us to play for a longer time...

after the game, went punggol plaza and get bubble tea before heading home... went to Samartha's bday party at Downtown east chalet after that.. Left the chalet around 10.45, as Lily and David are coming over for mahjong at 11.30.. had a fun game...

Went out to meet Sherwin and Nicholas at City Hall this afternoon for a chocolate session. Went to Esplanade's Chocz, and we ordered a Madagascar dark chocolate fondue, plus a drink each, and Sherwin ordered another apple crumble... i ordered a hot choco drink called Chococcina, and it was nice! The thick choco that has a tinge of bitterness is definatly my cup of tea! haha so we really enjoyed the choco session, with Sherwin entertaining us with his singing: 'Lonely is the night'...

After the fulfilling choco session, Sherwin has to head home for his 4 hours of revision as required by his mum.. So we accompanied him back to MRT station before going to Raffles City to shop around... walked around looking for clothes, cos nic says he wants to change his image and dress younger.. but first he say he needs to slim down first hahha but with all the nice foods around, not tat easy lol... had late dinner at MOS burger before sending me home... it was a nice and funny day out, really enjoyed myself.. ^_^

First week of TA has ended, got a nice CT, and fun trainees to hang out with.. so generally, i enjoy my time... The first week of school was quite hectic, teachers busying with h1n1 stuff, and first lesson of the day is suspended... so teachers are all stressed as they have to rush their lessons... well, the 2 classes i observed are the below average standard classes, so their progress is slower... and, Donghan, my cousin is in 1 of the class i observed! haha and i heard him telling his classmates that i'm his cousin but it seems that nobody believes him lol... cos he's those very noisy type, so i supposed his frens will just think that he's lying haha..

Went to watch Ice Age 3 yesterday at Cineleisure yesterday, it was nice and funny! Had Suki buffet before that and the sashimi are great! slurps...

Just came back from a mahjong session at Lily's house... we went her house around evening, and played till 11.15, and i left to catch last bus home... it was quite fun, but think i'm a little too tired...

The 5d4n Kuching trip was great! Especially the trip to Bako National Park.. though tiring, it was a nice and great experience, being so close to the nature and stuff.. of cos its rewarding to be able to see the nice beach at the end of the trail, and not forgetting the famous sea-stack that we saw... the stay at tree-house was okay, as in it was a great experience, but abit scary at night as it's just all trees around and its like we're alone in the forest... somemore deary fall asleep so fast, i feel so scared being alone (with him asleep) in the night in the forest lol.. Overall, the trip was great, but i guess i din get enough sleep, so am still a little tired... perhaps i expect too much, but sometimes i really do wish that things are a little more perfect, a little more closer to my expectations... but i guess, there isn't such a thing called 'perfect match', its only how much you can accept, and how much you want to accept......

Went to Guihao's 21st bday party at her house last night, with the theme hip-hop... haha was quite fun and enjoyable, chatting with sec sch frens... the mango cake is also nice! hopefully she likes the oven ^_^ next time can go her house bake cakes/cookies plus play her Wii heheh..

later on after the party, Lily, David and Deary came over my house for mahjong... it was fun, and i won a little haha but its funny, that David's wins happens to cover for Lily's loss, and my wins covers deary's loss.. it was fun playing wiht them, and i think Lily is getting a hang of it and she wants to play again too! hahah okies anyway, played till around 4.30am and they went off, and deary stayed over at my house... slept till 10am, then went to eat KFC breakfast! haha nice Twister heheh... 2 more weeks of holiday left before sch attachment, and 1 more week to Kuching trip!!!

Went JB with Lily, David and Deary last thurs... deary and i went in earlier to sing ktv, cos the both of them can only make it in the afternoon... so we went to their k-lunch and sing for around 2 hours... was having a little of sore throat haha but still enjoyed ourselves... and its very cheap! it cost only RM22 for both of us, and its inclusive of lunch! hahah shall go there again someday... after singing, both of us walked around, and we went Padini where there was sale, and i bought a pair of pants while deary bought a shirt... then we meet up the lily and david, and took a cab to Taman Sentosa to eat the Bah Kut Teh... it was nice although i just went with my family 2 weeks ago lol...

after the late lunch, we went shopping at The Store before going back to City Square.. we decided to watch Terminator Salvation, and i was so confused in the show, cos i din watch the previous Terminator movies.. even fell asleep for awhile lol cos was tired, maybe cos of sore throat also... and after the show, we went to eat Kim Gary's... food was nice, too bad i cant eat the hot plate they ate, it was so nice... due to sore throat i only had dumplings noodles.. shall go and eat the hotplate another day lol...

Friday morn went the airport and send wanying off, she'll be away along in taiwan for 15days haha.. hopefully she's enjoying herself there! went Tampines in the afternoon and shop around before goign bedok for dinner with family to celebrate Papa's birthday.. Sat was papa's bday...

Sunday night went 4th aunt's house for bbq... it was fun, all the bbq-ing and eating.. big aunt even cooked laksa! it was a nice and heart-warming relatives gathering... ^_^

Had almost 3 hours of badminton yesterday and lily david and deary... it was a nice workout, luckily i still decide to go even though im still having a cough... was quite a last min decision lol was contemplating not to go hehe but well, it was fun!
wanted to go kite flying at marina barrage today, but am too tired, with the persisting cough... hopefully will get weell soon...

Went to watch Angels and Demons at GV Gold Class Vivocity just now(cos got free tix as a bday gift)... it was a nice movie, and the seats in the cinema was great and very comfy hhaha its those recliner kind of chair and can really lie down and sleep, they provide blanket too! haha so it was really a nice relaxation throughout the show... however i think that $36/tix is too expensive, and i dun tink i'll go if i have to pay for it hahha...

Anyway, had international buffet at AquaMarine resturant at Marina Mandrian Hotel for dinner... the ambience was great, rather high class... hhaha thx dear for the nice month-sary celebration ^_^

Went Leisure world with mum yesterday, quite fun cos i havent been onboard for quite long... it was very crowded, as usual my mum said... played a little hahha den walked around the deck and enjoy the sea breeze, it was nice and cooling.. love the feeling... went food fair at expo at night, it was also very crowded.. tasted some food, and bought some meat balls, sausages and chocolates...

anyway, results are out yesterday! am overjoyed to hear that my CGPA increased by 0.2! was really unexpected, cos alot of dip edu crossovers for the sem, and alot of them are prcs, so i tot my results will be bad.. but luckily, i did well! am really happy to get my first A in NIE.. hahha hopefully in the next 2 years, my results wun be dragged down by the English modules....

Watched Night at the Museum 2 last weeekend, its funny but i still think part 1 is nicer and funnier... badminton with deary and lily they all on mon, and poor deary injured his knee again, hopefully he'll get well soon...

its 端午节yesterday, had eaten quite alot of 粽子 for the past few days.. i just finished 1, hahah love the 粽子 made by my aunts... my mum used to make also, but its very troublesome haha so now we only make ki zhang, which is easier to make and not as oily lol...

Back from Vietnam-Hanoi! it was a wonderful trip! Especially love the nice scenery at Halong Bay, and the great swimming and kayaking experience... Back in Hanoi city, it was fun walking around exploring the old quarters and trying out their street food... and all the bargaining.. the water puppet show was interesting also... in all, i would say that its a great and fun trip! there wasn't much things to buy, it was more of a cultural experience..

didn't get enough sleep for the 5 days, so slept alot after i came back...went sgh yesterday, test results wasnt exactly good.. hopefully will turn better...

Its only a few more hours before boarding the plane to Vietnam-Hanoi! Hopefully its going to be a fun trip!

Good and fun time really flies, lol its been 3 weeks since the end of my exams... have been getting lots of fun recently, mostly through exercising lol.. played badminton and table tennis, and also went to gym quite often for past 2 weeks.. hopefully this kind of healthy lifestyle will continue even after coming back from Vietnam..

Monday went to buy air-con with bro, and yeah! they'll be coming to install it tmr! dun hav to endure the hot and humid weather anymore hahah.. went to help out at Mercy Relief raising awareness campaign on Mon evening at Tampines with Doris... our jobs are just to give out balloons and getting some donations... overall its quite nice and fun cos the ppl from MR are really nice and friendly... alr got this impression of them prior to my last volunteer experience with them.. hopefully there'll be more chances like this...

For those who're living in the East or near Tampines, do drop by the field tentage beside Tampines MRT station (the white tent with photo exhibitions), its a showcase of photos of the MR team offering our help in Sichuan Earthquake, Tsunami 2004, Gaza strip victims as well as the civilians in Sri Lanka... the main aim of the exhibition is more of raising awareness.. soliciting donation is another aim but not the main one, so feel free to go downn and take a look at the photos, and get to know about this organisation called Mercy Relief =)

Went Delta gym with Deary yesterday morning, before goin his house and went for lunch at Marina Square with his parents... its an early celebration of Mother's Day, had Pariss International buffet... the food there are fresh esp the seafood like oysters and mussels, scallops etc... very nice display also, though the food does not taste fantastic, but still quite nice and we had a very filling lunch lol... after that i went for tuition while deary went sk lib until my tuition ends then we went Bedok Hiang Suar restaurant for dinner with my family... we had Mother's Day celebration dinner yesterday also, lol we were still so full during dinner time that both of us shared a bowl of rice lol...

will be going play table tennis next tue, havent played since secondary school lol... and i'm looking forward to Halong Bay trip! ^_^

Caught 17again with Deary, Lily and David yesterday after the Vietnam trip debrief at NUS... went Causeway point to catch the show, it was a nice movie, i think the plot was great, with touching moments as well as laughable moments in the show... managed to catch the last bus home from woodlands after the movie... looking forward to the Hanoi trip!! hopefuly the swine flu will not get any more serious.. going off to have my lunch!

It was all fun after the exams haha.. went for 3d2n chalet at Downtown East with deary from tue to thu... played bowling, tried ice-skating, played the arcade basketball, went swimming, went jogging to pasir ris park and climbed the net till the top... plus all the cookinng in the room using the multi purpose steamboat thingy hahah so much fun!


of cos not forgetting, the surprise Deary had for me hahah lighting up so many candles in the room lol...


Friday went to Wan Ying's special birthday party at Kranji D'Farm.. though the weather was hot, but it was a great experience! it was fun walking around and catching up with 13/05 ppl... received a nice big stalk of sunflower from wanying too!


Sat had tuition as usual, but after class, stayed at tuition centre for awhile and played with Nic's hamster - Momo... haha he was cute but a bit shy dun really like ppl to touch lol... after that, went Shaw to have pasta and pizza at Roma's Deli... introduced Nic and Sherwin to the place and it was funny to watch Sherwin's expressions when he was eating lol cos he hate veges lol... after that we had ice-cream while walking to Suntec, where Sherwin got his hamster cage and i got the strawberry biscuit that Pinkie loves!

Walked towards the MRT and meet my mum and aunt, cos we were going to watch the 妈妈意难忘演唱会， 王识贤、谢承均as well as other actors and actresses of 意难忘 were present... haha it was a concert with alot alot of aunties watching lol but nevermind, i do enjoyed myself watching and listening to the hokkkien songs =)


Went Golden Mile to try out the well-known Belgium waffle with choco dip last evening... was ratehr nice, considerign its at a hawker centre... after that, walked to suntec and shop aroudn... basically was just walking around then back to bugis hahah.. like walked a big round...

shall be looking forward to roller blading at ECP later on in late afternoon!

yeah finally finished my exams!

went KTV with NIEgals at Chinatown 10dollar KTV its really cheap haha we sang from 3-7, until all of us tired... hahah... but after that still went Vivo to shop around and have dinner with Deary... just reached home and changed Pinkie's cage, she is still as cute as ever hahah...

anyway, got posted back to Rivervale again, and still waiting for my supervisor to call... hmm just realised that most of my classmates got part-time tutors as supervisor too... pity chihui cos her supervisor is Mr.Shake lol and he is known to be biased against M'sians... hopefully my supervisor will be good hahaha...

Most importantly, HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY WAN YING!

Haven update for quite some time... finished the 3 tests, and am supposed to be preparing for exams now.. hahah but not really in the mood to study, cos of the flu and sore throat, have been sleeping all day lol... doubt there'll be much to prepare for xiao ming's paper this fri cos its more of analysing...

btw, watched Shijuku Incident and I think its really nice... though its a sad ending.. i think i still prefer shows with happy endings lol

Thanks to all those who turned up for my 21st birthday celebration! It was filled with fun, with so many frens and relatives celebrating for me, thanks a great deal! I'm very very happy! though got sabotaged by my cousins hahah but it was fun ^_^ really have to thank my family and deary for all the preparation work..

tests these 2 days, an opened-book one yesterday, was quite rush for time... luckily eeveryone said its not very easy hahah so still ok... today's paper was qutie ok... guessed tmr's paper will not be difficult also hahha since its another open book test...

anyway, watched Confessions of Shopaholic on sun, which is my bday with Deary at Vivo... was a nice and funny movie :)

Went tomb sweeping with family early this morning... its the first weekend for ppl to go sao mu, so it was reallyy crowded at the cemetry.. went for breakfast after that and sent my mum and bro to customs before coming home and slept till now lol...

the textbook assignment deadline extended till tmr, which means that i'll still need to edit the essay today... its still over the word limit of 3000... sianz...

well anyway, went ACM yesterday and view the KangXi exhibition.. it was only a small gallery with some exhibits, luckily it was free entry lol.. but quite ok as we got to walk around and view other exhibits also like SE Asia and stuff... afterthat went to ate Just Asia at Dhoby exchange.. din expect it to be so crowded haha cos usually when i went there its always like not mcuh ppl..

hmmm shall go back to editing and do my ppt slides for wed presentation...

Watched Race to Witch Mountain on Tuesday, it was a nice adventure show... been wanting to watch the show cos the 'aliens' are not like the usual aliens that we assume, like little green creatures with antenna...

spent whole of Friday doing ACC202.2 project plus alittle of xufeng's assignmnet, though tiring, it was quite fun with some jokes and gosssips here and there...

Sat was great! Went Marina Barrage with Deary, cos got the 'Real love works' event, and it was fun.. the scenery was nice, weather was cooling, and it was fun getting the hold helium balloon! cant really remember when was the last time i got one, it was only when i was a little gal then i got this privilege lol.. mummy will always tie it around my hand, for fear the i'll lose grip and let the balloon fly off.. i think thats really very long ago, cos most of the balloons nowadays are those normal balloons with a stick.... still prefer those helium-filled balloons ^_^
it was a happy day!

Watched Departures on Thursday after lesson... It was much better than what I expected, cos usually I'm not that into Jap movies.. it was a show with unique settings and there's this tinge of sadness halfway thru the show till the end... the show was filled with solemness, and it portrayed the professionalism of the Japanese, which is something that we really have to salute them...




The Tale of Despereaux.. A nice and cute movie about the world of Mouse and Rats. It is also meaningful..really loved the 2 movies... went for swimming, jogging and badminton in the past week hahah but dun think i will continue doing this every weeek lol...

Finally, the assignments and test are over.. hah but i'm not that stressed up about it compared to my classmates(they slept at 3am everyday for the past week!) haha to think that i still went cycling and playing with water and East coast park last fri while they're all slogging their way thru the assignments and studying test... hahah i'm just so slack...

anyway, have sent out invitations for my 21st birthday,.. if u did not receive my email invitation, then it must be on the way thru the snail mail lol... hopefully the turnout will be good, cos its nearing exam period and alot of tests and assignments due then...

After enjoying the recess week, its time to work again.. with 2 assignments due and a test next week... but it'll be over soon!^_^

on a brighter note, my sis won a 32in lcd sharp tv in her company D&D! haha its the 2nd prize, and it'll be placed in our room hahaha... so happy, luckily i din buy the 19in the other time... also, deary cooked my breakfast this morning, omu rice with gyoza.. so nice lo hahaha...

Superstar Virgo

Am back from the Cruise trip with Deary! It was a great trip, with lots of fun, lots of good food, lots of photos and most importantly, loads and loads of beautiful memories ^_^

Disembarked at Malacca, visited the ruins of St. Pauls church, 2 chinese temples, a Peranakan museum and the significant red church... after that, took bus to KL where we viewed the twin towers from afar and took pictures, and then proceed to their Chinatown... though the stay in KL was short, but overall, the land excursion is still great...

Onboard the cruise, we ate and ate, went swimming and jacuzzi, watched shows, took lots of photos along the deck, visited the casino... truly enjoy the walks along the deck, viewing the sea, 那种眼前一望无际，望着辽阔无边的大海的感觉，让我体会世界之大。也让我深切地感受到，在茫茫人海中，两人能相遇并走在一起，是多么地奇妙。这一切冥冥中早已有了安排，既然已是缘定一生，又何须在乎生命中那些许的缺陷呢？无论如何，这是一个美丽的回忆。
